Re: Invading, Tonberry-style
Great video, nice to see someone being creative and just having fun instead of having +5 lightning weapons and ninja flip ring on level 17 to grief some low level builds.

Hasn't the duration of Iron Flesh been severely reduced since this video? If not, I may have a new build to try.

I don't like it, new players get mowed down, this is "Griefing with style"

Re: Invading, Tonberry-style
later in the vid he gets squished by other b-boxers so... not much issue there at least plus hes always slow so they could just bs him to death or back up and heal if need be...

Re: Invading, Tonberry-style
He always stops whatever he is doing to recast iron flesh. He is slow as *** and just has a lantern for a shield. This isn't griefing, he can be escaped, problem is many see him and think he is just being an idiot so they go after him which is stupid.

Re: Invading, Tonberry-style
Except, most new players have no idea how to backstab (for examples look at all the new players on the forum who are psyched when they pull it off) and are used to the 'Block-strike' gimmick. Yeah they could adapt, but the Chaos and Lightning knives usually make short work. If I ever did this the most I'd bring to normal players is a Raw knife +5
so my issues with the Chaos and Lightning, nothing else.

Re: Invading, Tonberry-style
Fair enough having issues with elemental weapons but he was not using that weapon to its full potential (BS or riposting) had they just used a spear or greatsword and rolled carefully he was beatable. and if not

Remember the best way to learn is to loose. So since he wasn't just doing a OHKO hornet ring BS with a lightning rapier +5 I say keep at it.

Re: Invading, Tonberry-style
Yeah. In a sense, he's just being thematic. He isn't using any of the "common" PVP items.
The video kind of reminds me about the Super Avarice Bros.
