Getting Indicted

I've now been indicted three times.

Once by a douche in the burgs who started off swinging at the spawn. He hit me once with his BKGA, and I two shot him with my fire tempest.

And now twice by invading in Quelaag's Domain (For the Followers of Izalith)

what does it do?

Each one counts as a sin. So put 2 and 2 together.

But it doesn't matter how many sins I have. Because Oswald doesn't require any more souls to recover 100 sins or 1 sin. So... what do sins do?

You're now on the list for Spirit of Vengence invasions. They are higher SL then you, so they can be much more powerful.

Where can they invade?

Anywhere where you haven't beaten the boss. It is especially common in Anor Londo though.

Ok. So I'm good because I will never leave Blighttown on my follower of izalith. And that's my only PvP character so far.

my name is in the book of the guilty 7 times and is still there.kind of annoying. but also fun. i love going to the kiln summoning a darkwraith. then being invaded by a darkmoon for a 1v1v1

When I'm hosting in the burg, I can get invaded twice as often (which is the goal), so being indicted is good for me.

Indictment means like a report against you something like that where you will soon feel the fury of the Darkmoon blades.

Or just ranking up in the book of the guilty.

Oh, the buuuuurg. Where all the good PvP'ers are. *shiver* Good and bad experiences there, the very few I have. So glad I'm invading in Quelaag's domain. Interesting to see how people react to a guy with no shield, a halberd, just SPRINTING at them. I usually win by doing whatever it takes to defend my Follower of Izalith: Fire Path's Queen.

Last time I was in the burg, there was an annoying lag. It wasn't teleporting yet, but randomly slowing down. I almost rage quit right then and there. But, some people will troll for indictments too. Get as high on the list as possible.

There was a point when I was in the top 100 in the book on xbox..

What I did was for like half of christmas vacay just sat in my dark room and invaded. I was gettin lucky too because alot of people were indicting..not alot of people do it usually. The people on the list no are crazy high..some where above 1000 I think.

well now I just feel inadequate with my 40 something sin character good going btw. I take indictments as a compliment in the forest xD

Every indictment brings a big smile to my face.

Indictments are an awesome and elegant idea. I think they should run down that road of thinking more.

Whats slightly upsetting is i get indicted sometimes for winning a fight. I guess that's the drawback. Sections of the community cant be trusted.

I used to be rank 20 in the book of the guilty on the xbox then i realized that their is no point in even trying to get higher because people stopped indicting honorable players as much. So people nowadays like (rank 1) use cheap tactics to get higher and keep their spot.

Its a shame you cant indict darkmoons only forest hunters and dark wraiths can be indicted.
