I've kinda done that ever since Dark Souls got ahold of me. Plus, my best friend started verbally bullying me. So, I kinda had to take a break. Dark Souls is a GREAT corner to hide in.

    Aww, Ha ha.

I was never good at any console games, I mean.
I'm not proud of it but I played Black Ops a lot (No Offence >.<)
    and Portal, Tomb Raider too.
Dark Souls came naturally big grin and even now I find it hard to
    believe that it's considerd "hard"
I got so good at Black Ops. I memorized every map and knew every call-out. I wasn't the best slayer, but I was one of the best objective players. "Oh, we don't have B? I'll grab that alone for the rest of the team."
And Dark Souls was hard at first. The atmosphere REALLY got to me, too. It was before I was hardcore at gaming. I'd always been pretty casual about gaming. Then one of my other friends REALLY got me into some stuff (I only play games socially, usually. Dark Souls is the exception) and then he and I played dark souls. Or, rather, I returned to it. It wasn't hard. It was just CHALLENING, ya know?

Im more of a Halo player, though Dark souls was indeed hard at first especially Blight town lol!

and we three are off the rails again.. king

Pfft. Comparing the difficulty of Dark Souls to other video games COMPLETELY ties in to the difficulty of bosses.

I guess someone like me wouldn't fully understand but I can acknowledge the fact that it must of been challenging

I had to give my copy of COD because I lost my cousins copy.. or rather someone stole it and I felt bad for not keeping track of it better..

Guys please stop with these Quote Abominations, remember how it got another thread locked?

If you guys want to do this why not just make an off-topic thread with the sole purpose of this?

Sorry. Didn't really think it was a problem since we weren't quoting just for the sake of quoting. Bow

I know I'm alone here but I had a hard time with Nito. I always wound up stuck between a root and a wall and swarmed by his skeleton friends.

He's actually quite harder than he looks if you don't fight him right! I HAVE to use pyromancy against him, now. *shiver* melee don't work when Nito somehow refuses to kill his skeletons.

I usually try to keep him away from his Skelly friends and use my pyromancy a lot!

I didn't want to be a buzzkill, it just sort of stretches out the pages and can cause problems, as well as being an eye sore. You can't imagine what that does to my Ipod. It's all good though.

Outside of that MONSTER, BoC, hmm....no boss is really difficult outside of her...I guess I'll have to go with the Stray Demon?

I would NOT be quoting if I was on my phone....

And the stray demon got me a few times on my dodge character, but like all the other bosses, learn his move. He does have some OP moves like spamming that huge AOE, and he'll only stop if you get close to him, and the AOE is always between you and him... Oh, man. That one SUUUCKS! I'm glad to see WoG after that. (Which is actually REALLY easy to dodge. I'm learning to BS them for trying it twice in a row on me. Got one off XD)

I just hate it when sometimes he just constantly flies up and lands on his but. I have to deal with the only jiggle physics in the game, trying to hit it a few seconds after it lands to avoid the damage. I guess he doesn't really kill me, but he's just very annoying. sad

Giants' in anor londo shield smash does the same thing for me. Trying to get behind them when they still knock me down sitting still...
With the Stray Demon, I just sprint at him, and hit him with the tip of my halberd (Sprinting attack has HUGE range, but is very hard to hit anything that's moving left or right)

I hate it when I almost kill the Nito skeletons then Nito sweeps in and kills them all.

Noo, you're doing it wrong! That flying-drop attack is the best one to bait. When he's in the air, you need to get some distance on him and get a running start, so that when he lands you can do a running-R1. If you time it well, he'll often just get stuck in an attack loop where he keeps flying up and you keep doing running-R1s. You can get 1-2 hits in after the running-R1, too. With a bleeding weapon, you could easily kill him at SL1 wielding an un-upgraded Bandit's Knife this way! winking

As for BoC... you haven't watched my video, have you? Check her page on the wiki, watch the video. (I should make a new, better one...) It doesn't show much, but it should be enough for her to never kill you again.

Yay for Halo. Also, soloing O&S isn't too bad as long as you know how to dodge their charges (Smough's in particular is horrific). For all ye who don't know, Smough is very weak to lightning. I 3-shotted him with an SLB Mura in NG++. Nito isn't too bad, you just have to dodge his sword and wail on him. If you have enough poise the ads just die while you attack the boss. In addition, he's very weak to fire.
