Forest darkwraiths and hunters.

whats with all the animosity ?
3rd kill today that I have lost out on because a darkwraith invaded and went for me letting the host get away :suspect: Starting to get annoyed xD

Some DWs are part of the rainbow brigade. They take up an invasion slot and help the host farm souls easier.

its the forest, no rules. if someone is able to kill you, its very possible they will try.

I have seen DW's backing up a host but no these guys all invaded during the fight.

True its no rules but surprisingly one track minded. I mean I had the host on the ropes he would have had a free win. that and the fact he could have gone after the host aswell but never did.

and @dough yeah I suppose that makes sense... but then I invaded the same guy again for one of them and the red was gone. people...

They mightnt have trusted him lol. Got what he deserved.

Just realised what it probably is :') when DW's interfere in my fights I will kill them before carrying on. guess I have aqquired a negative reputation lol.

i forest dw all the time, whenever im searching for the host with a hunter, i just get these...urges to plant my sword in their back while they aren't looking. its not my fault!



all kidding aside, i like to watch two players duke it out actually, and will usually stand off to the side and watch. if i see one player start fighting dirty, ill even it out by joining in the fray.

This is generally the rule I go by too!
but when I have one of the few nice duels interrupted by A BS a red mist descends... a red mist made out of DW blood (is it blood ? xD)

Too be fair, if a darkwraith kills a blue it's like they killed an invader, not like they killed a host.

Assuming you are the same level, he would get 5x as many souls for killing you. Still farming, but it has a logical reason.

I invade the forest as a hunter and more steady as a darkwraith and I always bow to hunters and most of the time we proceed on together and have some epic 2V2....or sometimes ill get BS'd from the hunter while bowing(to show I am friendly)...until the next time I invade and save him from a ganking...then its strange how nice they are to me!

This happens to me all the time as a FH.

Last night I invaded a host and a white phantom and see a red phantom running towards the white phantom. Host runs to me and bows I return the bow, then I noticed I couldn't see the red anymore, so I swung the camera to one side and saw him coming for a BS on me. So I side stepped just as i get out of the bow animation and BSed him instead. Ended up killing the phantom eventually but I still lost. Thanks to the turncoat red.

And just the other day I see a red being ganked as I invade. Run over save him, and then I kill the host's phantom. Then proceed to watch the red losing to the host bad. So I ran in and distracted the host and the red ran away and healed then came back. Host was an estus chugger by the way or i wouldn't have interfered. I backed off and watched the red getting chain BS's so I run over and BS the host. Red gets up and BS's me, killing me cause I was a dumbass and didn't heal after I killed the host's phantom. Then I see the host kill the red...

Moral of the story don't trust anyone but yourself. Oh and kill everyone unless you know them.

Trust no one in the forest period that's my moto...I am however a hunter first so I bow out of respect and to show I am friendly and ill even die bowing once to a hunter but the next time I see him its on!

Usually as a red I will see the same hunters over and over so we have already met and gone threw the awkward part...now we know were friendly so we just go right for the host and phantom together!!

But ya nothing like saving a hunter from a ganking just to have him kill the phantom and then come at me while I fight the host and BS me like WTF is wrong with some people!

then again if the host is chugging or wog spamming Ill put a rapier in his back .
and yeah, its nice on one level but not on another I think most of the animosity was cause I aqquired a reputation :pale:
