I didn't know about the port key till I revisited the blue moon tower after killing the sorcerer guy. Apparently the griffin is supposed to go there in a quest and unlock some areas, but I kinda killed it too quick because I'm sick 8)

lol my first guy was an assassin. Just from what Ive seen Id say its one of the weakest vocations. This guy was a mystic knight but I hadnt got the full party buffs yet so I was waiting for the sorc and wizard to throw buffs on me.
Speaking of vocation for some reason my assassin was so much bette rthan my knight. He destroyed the game, despite using almost the exact weapons and worse armour. I cant figure it out.

Dough, I don't use the party buff spells, I just spam great cannon and ruinous sigil, best skills. The shield skills I think are pretty useless.

Assassin seems a bit crap.. Don't know why you'd use it except to play at night since if you have sword and shield, mystic knight and fighter are better.. If you use daggers or bow, Ranger is better.. Makes no sense :|

Only reason I could think of using assassin is to get stuff like core skills and augments

Switching between a bow and burst strike gives you amazing versatility and good damage. Thats why.

What, no full moon slash? :|

Yeah, but thing is regular bow is lame. Doesn't knock down like big one and doesn't home like magic archer. Also, I don't rate Burst strike as being the best thing... I'd say Hundred kisses gets that one, it's insane.

Also maxed mystic knight, soon to magical archer.

I hate quests with a time limit even if you dont start them. Like in the city there a guy who needs help for someone dying, I could tell even without speaking to him. I just go to do his quet now and the son is dead. that is bad game design.

Do you know what's bad game design? Making an NG+ that has the exact same difficulty level as the firts playthrough

seriously, got so angry when I found that out I cracked out demon's souls again silly

What isnt smart is giving the warrior vocation only 3 slots to put skills in while all others get 6

Funny thing is though is the magicians with only 1 staff still get 6, so that logics completely out the window :|

Also dough yes it's incredible. It's by far the best class in my opinion. (though I haven't really done much with sorcerer and mage classes)

Its exactly what the assassin class is, only far far better. I think its the noob class lol.

I have to say despite it being a good game it has a lot of flaws in quest design and such. Its annoying.

Something that pisses me off is the mages/sorcerer pawns.

They buff when you fight a goblin but not on harder enemies.
They use halidom when you are poisoned from a spider, not for more serious debilitations from other enemies.

Sorcerer tries to cast his spells and just gets knocked down.

Honestly I donthave that problem. My mage bufss and restores whenever I fight/get debilitated. And my sorceror throws up walls of flame, shoots light and turns my guys into balls of lightning regularily. What class are you? You might no be getting enough aggro.

I am currently a mystic knight.
I have no idea wtf happens, if i get poisoned, she uses the healing spell and not halidom. So sad.

If you're getting bad things like that, I say hire in another mage and have your main pawn be something else. Yeah they wont be perfectly set up for you, but they're probably trained better and have better quest knowledge.

What's so good about magick archer?
I have been playing with it and found nothing special.

Also, do you always need to do the tutorial?

About the tutorial you mean thee thing at the encampment? Im pretty sure you can leave it anytime.

Magic Archer is amazing! You have ranged lock on magical arrows and really fast melee weapons. You can deal high damage in melee with skills and lock on skills for range make the game easy.

Magick archer just doesn't seem to do enough dmg to me.
Not sure if it's because I'm used to sorcerer and mistic knight.

But I would rather play ranger instead of magick archer

Ranger seems cool, but I've stuck to the hybrid classes, mainly because pawns can't use them so makes me feel special silly

Most of the time I like to use mystic knight, but thing is against the dragon, you can either have a hard time and try climbing on him, or you can have a really easy time and have a bow. Guess which I picked lol!

Yeah, the savan bit seems kinda random, doesn't it.....
