I understand that taunting is generally frowned upon and agree wholeheartedly. That isn't the point of this thread, so don't get into arguements about that.

What I WOULD like to know is the forum-goers thoughts on teasing an opponent. That is too say, sending a message like one of the following:

"The Great Axe? Merely a ruse!!"(After a forest farmer rolled off a cliff)

"I see my reputation precedes me!" (After an invader accidentally back-flipped off the Painted World cliff)

I have a few other ones that I have done regarding specific gamertags, but I am wondering if any of you do stuff like this, or if not what your thoughts are on it.

Some one recognised my Templar cosplay

Invader- I've been a bad Malificar

Me- Then I had better make you Tranquil thus rendering you unable to use magic and access the emotional parts of you brain essentially turning you into a slave of the Chantry....

    Invader- Oh owch

    Tease successful!

Define teasing. Because I tend to mess with people during a fight (parrying w/o reposte, faking bs', kicking whenever I got close, pyro glove punching etc...)

I ran around a forest hunter backstabbing him with a +0 parry knife earlier... is that teasing? I often send messages to people once they die teasing them about it, but congradulating them for the fight!

On topic, no I don't tease. Mostly because I don't message anyone unless I had super epic fights.

Lol I like to Pray. Their souls were unclean to invade the world in which I inhabit, Maker forgive them and lead them to the Golden City.

I often send this out to some of the really bad ones that I meet.

My other fav is to get up somewhere really high and plunging attack them for the assassinate.

They'll then get an "Ezio would be proud of that one"

Well I usually dont but me and the invadee had some laughs about our long and very defensive fight culminating in him summoning a phantom by the stairs and him and the phantom tumbling off the cliff when trying to get at me. (on the ledge by the stairs)

Had a blue phantom invade me multiple times in Anor Londo while I was waiting to help other people out against O&S while in human form. Killed him everytime, I'm sure it was frustrating him because he was trying everything in his power to kill me each time. Finally, I decided it was my turn to kill O&S, so I summoned some sunbros for some Jolly Cooperation and he happened to invade again. I waved at him hoping he would get the point that if he couldn't kill me solo, what would make him think he could take us all.... He still attacked. Actually BS'd me while I was waving. I was laughing the whole time. Poor guy, still didn't kill me even though he dropped me to about 10% health.

As long as it is definitely silly, such as your "Ruse" remark. I tended to do things like that when dealing with Hatemail. I don't send hatemail back, just something ridiculous.

"Lol nub you los at lyf!"

"Indeed, you maybe can't tell but I'm actually a ghost who died while invading the forest. My spirit may not rest until I've killed every ganker that I possibly can. Either that or if some Italian priest comes and performs an Exorcism on this house."

"SHUT UP KID, If I knew where you lived I would come and kick your ***!"

"You want to know where I live? But you can't fight a ghost so why would you...Oh you trickster, you were going to tell the church weren't you! Nice try, while I don't have a brain anymore I'm not an idiot!"

Had a guy disconnect on me after I killed both his phantoms, (with him popping flasks no less). Without revealing his gamertag, I'll just say it proclaimed he had plenty of swagger. I sent him a pm informing him that it was a Zer0Sw4gger move. silly

I've fought him before. He is so easy to parry.

    Haha, that's a good one!

While trying to help someone with O&S, we got invaded by a guy with "SecretAgent" in his name. I popped into the titanite room for a sce to see if the demon was around, and the host got us caught in the door and killed by the demon. I promptly sent the invade the message, "You fool! We were double agents!"

About two weeks ago I invaded the invader in the forest, where he was trying the "hide as NPC" trick as Shive. I killed him, and sent another message saying, "I was actually a TRIPLE Agent!"
