I'm curious, because when I fight I always try to either maintain spacing when it's me vs multiple, but when it's 1v1 I always roll in through the hits and pressure my enemy as much as I can. Who else does this?

I do from time to time. If they follow up with another swing and you don't end up behind them, you get caught so I roll into swings sparingly. With spells, however, this is a great tactic. I've trained martial arts for twelve years, and I think distance and timing are crucial. You begin to control both of these if you can use pressure (and the absence of pressure) to make your opponent react to you.

Re: Who here rolls INTO the hit?
Depends what weapon I'm using and what weapon they're using. Basically:
If my weapon has more range than my opponent's, I roll sideways or back, to preserve my distance and hit them from relative safety.
If I'm using a shorter weapon, once in a while I'll take advantage of rolling through their hit to do a rolling-R1 (but not too often--wouldn't want to become predictable parry-bait!).
