As a way to kind of force myself to learn parrying, I've been considering a dagger-only user for my next build when I'm done levelling my character for the next Noble Knights war. I've never really used daggers and was wondering what peoples' thoughts on the various ones were. I'm not asking for a definitive "best weapon" or anything, just wondering what others have found the pros and cons of the various daggers to be. Thanks in advance

Speed and low stamina use are great on Priscilla's dagger. Wide arc of attack for PvP on the R2.

If you're going for parries, then the best one would be the Bandits Knife without a doubt. Then, the best one for actual damage is Priscilla's Dagger. It is fast, and has an amazing moveset.

Re: About Daggers...
the basic dagger is good and fast, but the bandits knife has bleed making melee much more viable, but if your forcing yourself to parry use the regular dagger or a mail breaker as their damage is too low outside of parries to encourage anything else. i might also suggest dual mail breakers with green skin to be a teenage mutant ninja turtle plus the easy and quick parry animation of the mail breaker.

Re: About Daggers...
the basic dagger has 134 critical which is pretty good. bandits is obviously the best choice. i like the normal ghost blades moveset and it has decent crit but its just weak overall. would be a challenge but fun.

i've got about a 1000 hours with nothing but duel wielding daggers; and keep in mind esp while pvping you can attack and roll away b4 "say a claymore can even attack.... very handy to keep in mind.also u will def need a wolf ring to stay outta stunlock sit. whilst parrying.

Re: About Daggers...
I personally like Priscilla's Dagger good quick move set with devastating bleed if you can get it to work(doesn't seem to bleed as often as others for me) also has occult damage that supposedly does more damage to holy/living like phantoms. If you are going to duel wield daggers I would recommend parrying dagger in the left hand its the easiest to parry with for me due to its long animation. If you want the best ripost bonus go with the bandits knife though.

Re: About Daggers...
If you really want to parry a bunch, just take away the shield. A lot of bosses can't be parried, so you might as well use a normal weapon and two hand it for them. Tis what I just recently did. it's fun XD.
But if you're going for a dagger, P. dagger is the best, but it's not the best for parrying. Just bleeding and being a bad[bleep] looking weapon. Bandit's dagger for parrying all the way.
And I personally like the parrying dagger over the mail breaker.
