Paladin Leroy
Missed him on my first playthrough, so I made sure to meet him on my second because I need his gear. GULP! Is this guy for real? He totally hammered me.
Oh well back I go for another try.

Leeroy is my fave npc, hes actually not that bad, you can stunlock him pretty easy, just two hand your weapon and dodge his attacks.

Re: Paladin Leroy
I love the Paladin Armour (Found in Nito`s domain),it as some good stats and poise is not to bad neither.
As for fighting the dude,I seem to find him quite easy.

Re: Paladin Leroy
I think the hardest part of this fight is the arena. You can't flank him at all so it's all backstepping to avoid his attacks. If you land a hit or two he's gonna retreat to heal. It's a long casting animation so jump in and open up on him.

Also, if you just book it down the hill to where he spawns you can land an easy backstab.

Run into the tunnel right after the orange fog gate and fight him there. You can easily sidestep and BS

Re: Paladin Leroy
He is quite easy. He has a hard hitting hammer, but his armour is not the greatest in defence. You can easily kill him, if you hit him with a heavy weapon as well... or a ranged weapon, such as a pole arm or a projectile.
Good like, Slake. he is quite easy, just make sure you don't get caught by his force blast from either his talisman or hammer.

Re: Paladin Leroy
First thanks people for all your good wishes and advice but I'm feeling really ashamed right now because I BLEW IT! I went back, two handed my weapon and he was no problem because, in my eagerness to finish the job I KNOCKED HIM OVER THE CLIFF!

Quit and reload and his drops should appear on the cliff where he was.

Re: Paladin Leroy
He may be a priest, but he's also a Darkwraith or at least an invader. And I'm pretty sure he's not looking for honorable PvP. Otherwise, he would be in the Burg.

Lol.....Touche.....He does heal and, if given the chance I bet he'd spam that force blast. At least he's not a ganker like Lautrec.

Re: Paladin Leroy
Xanthous was not a darkwraith, as confirmed by the Developers. Leeroy could have done the same thing.
Remember, you don't need to be a darkwraith to invade as a red... their are other tools that can be used for the process.
And I don't believe him to be a full way of white covenant paladin... too many similarities to the sentinels as well as the shield of replenishment he has... yellow and white? Seems fishy to me.

I accidentally do it with the Pharis forest hunter all the time. Works every time.

Re: Paladin Leroy
Forget to congratulate you earlier Slake. Way to smack that uppity jerk around. I remember this one time he and some other guy in Black Iron armor and using a buffed great scythe just out and out bullied Pinwheel. That wasn't nice at all.

Re: Paladin Leroy
I invaded a guy in the Catacombs the other night who had already summoned Leeroy for the Pinwheel fight. It was pretty great. He tried to hide behind Leeroy down the tunnel the boss fog is in. So Leeroy came tramping out after me and aggrod pretty much every skeleton wheel in the canyon, as well as the axe black knight, and when the host came out to try to help I nailed him with a toxic mist and 2 acid surges. Made him as helpless as a newborn.

Re: Paladin Leroy
Leeroy ran in to fight rather than devising an appropriate battle strategy? Sounds about right.
