im practicing with my new build. im at sl 71 now. in the forest as a lone host and my win/lose ratio is ~5/1. i thought that i would have to practice a lot with the DGM. also the FH are a lot easier to beat than i remember, and a lot more honorable. i even win most 2v1!

Wait till Cloud or Skare gets you . Good work man, how are the hunters? Are they being cheap or are you getting mostly honourable matches?

as i said im getting mostly honorable matches, at least till another FH shows up, but some even back of and let me fight the new one. most players do run of to heal but i let them get away, there was one FH who had to heal 4 times until i ran out of patience and BSed him. another FH was stationed on bridge with a crest shield and a SK spear, he quickly learned how good the dragon roar is at guard breaking

Isnt rank 5 council member? Or is that 6? Also how is the DGM? I found it too slow for my tastes. i can only imagine with no poise and no armour its hard to use.

council membership is given to rank fives, it could be called rank 6. is is slow but if you time your attacks and use the roll r1 you Shouldn’t get stunlocked so easily. it also stuns so you can often defend by attacking, i have found sorcerers to be the most difficult, when you weapon is so slow it is easy for them to dodge and run away to cast a spell.

How quick is your roar? Can you stuin them and get in a swing?

the roar is quick enough but the DGM is way to slow. i mostly use the roar to break guards or stop healers without hurting them, or just for the damage boost if im about to charge.

Have you tried dash attacks? If you can get close before they start to dodge the tip might get them? (just throwing out ideas here, orry if you've tried them).

doesn’t work, i have tried. just found a new use for it though. you use the roar, stun them and then go for a BS. works most of the time but i only use it when someone has healed or used something i don’t like.

lol you really are asking for it, taunting the FH in their own thread.

maybe, i know that im not the best player(or even close to being the best) but the forest hunters jobs are to beat 3v1/2v1 and if they can’t even beat me then they need to get better. i don’t have anything against them using "cheap" tactics, i went to the forest to practice against such things.

although it was forum pirates stun/BS trick that gave me the idea, i thought that it might work with the dragon roar. it worked better than i thought
