However, pyro glove non uppgraded, the sanctus shield, and the ring that give a longer effect of magics, should work pretty well and almost nullify the life decrease I think

Yeah, I suggest you use the Sanctus, the base Pyro Flame and the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring, as Kaminari said.

Lingering Dragoncrest Ring, Sanctus Shield, and Power Within at 590 or less max HP = 0.8 HP decrease per second. It's psuedo, you still loose HP, but you recover it at the same rate. Add the RTSR.

PW eats a percentage of HP, but only sees whole hundreds afaik.
With 1,828 HP it should eat 1,818 health over 100 seconds (18Hp/101 ticks) .
With the Lingering Ring it should change to 1,782 over 150 seconds (18HP/99 ticks).

I use power within quite often, but I don't worry about health consumption. One slot with the miracle Health and you can heal yourself as a phantom (five times). I use the ascended glove+5.
The only time I have PW run out is on the Four Kings. It lasts through three, but the fourth is an easy kill and I don't have to use a green blossom against him.

Quick question...does anyone know if when you cast PW you cast from a 0 level pyro flame then switch to a +5 ascended flame does it change how quickly the damage is done to you? My character is a pyromancer and for some bosses I would like to try PW, but I know +5 ascended flame takes away health really quickly.

nope your fine to do that the health loss wont increase. Cast it with level0 and use maxed for the battle after casting.
Quick question of my own, if we cast PW with the Lingering ring on, and than take it off for a different one after cast, will the spell still last longer?
