I forget to switch out my cat ring at least once every 10 matches. It hurts, but I can usually find time to switch it mid-battle when I realize I forgot.

Yeah. Just last night I was hosting in the Burg/invading in the forest and saw the Spirit of Vengeance message. He gave me time to come to the arena. Forgot my cat ring was on.

Something like that never happened to me.
I go into a fight prepared, and that everytime. Full HP full stamina, and with my weapon & gears. I even prepare my wep for 2H or 1H.
On my consumables bar I have only the necesarry things: Estus,Divine Blessing
I have the estus to heal myself before invading, or if I have to heal a small amount of HP.
