If you use base pyro flame you die less quickly. How many faith do you got there? It's very low damage difference...

I only have 30 faith which is just enough to use the miracle, not a huge difference I know I just like to do this from time to time.
I know that the rapiers and daggers get a damage boost for crits, I will work on making one, also I could have used one of the little red enemies to get a higher damage out put.
Yes the parry gets a bigger crit I just dont know by how much I need to look that up.

The thing I didn't understand is why the DMB one did so low damage difference compared to a unbuffed Chaos Blade????

I think some of the magic damage negated through the painted armor's magic resistance. Maybe if I use the smaller red dudes like at the asylum I would get significantly more damage. Possibly even a bigger difference between the weapons.
