    The moonlight greatsword does about 60 damage when an opponent tries to block it with the grass crest shield... and the Moonlight Butterfly Horn does 49. I'm speaking of the same opponent of course, this is my PvP experience today.

    On 3 different opponents, I recorded the following numbers...

    Giant + Mask
    MLGS: 490 damage on hit
    MBH: 330 damage on hit

    Logans Set + Magic Barrier
    MLGS: 33 damage on hit
    MBH: 255 damage on hit (and he flipped the *** out)

    Dragonoid
    MLGS: 530 damage on hit
    MBH: 413 damage on hit

    I've got some questions about these numbers, and they mostly boil down to... "How". The moonlight Butterfly horn has 337 damage on this build, and the MLGS has 480. The damage numbers are essentially too close to each other for my comfort, and the Magic Barrier number threw me completely off. The MLGS and the MBH have different damage types, but as all damage is of a magic variety, does that even matter? I'm just very confused with my PvP experience today.

    Well that is interesting... wonder about the Moonlight Arrows, as well as the Crystal Ring Shield.

    you sure magic barrier didn't wear out the moment you struck him with the mbh? other wise.... its a matter of damage type as most heavy armors don't have high pierce or magic defense...

    Positive, I hate him 3 or 4 times in a row.
    Also it's not the first time I've done it, the Moonlight Horn seems to ignore magic barrier and great magic barrier.

    hm..... This needs testing. It may be because of the pure magic damage vs the split damage of the moonlight greatsword

    ^They're both pure magic damage.

    Yeah, only difference between the two I can think of is attack type.

    If that doesn't explain it... then the MBH is broken! silly

    Also, the MLBH can get a Leo bonus on an opponent who is blocking, if they are running when you hit them. So you can do 260 damage through a block.
    I found that interesting.
