    Victims of Fortune PvP

Post by DxV04 on Thu May 10, 2012 11:00 pm

I want to share what a fellow DkS player experienced while living idly in the forest PvPing.

    This is his testimony:

This was the most jaw-dropping, and terrifying, experience i have had in Dark Souls so far. I'm not exaggerating when i say that my jaw literally dropped open after the first death...i could not believe what had just happened. I'm typing a message, then i hear footsteps, and i quickly realize i'm completely surrounded. You can literally see my fear by the way i move the camera at 2:20...i was in complete awe.

Everyone who knows me knows that i am horrible at PvE. So, having something of this magnitude occur in my game (not to mention with over 50 million souls on the line) was enough to make me want to curl up in a ball and cry. If a zombie wielding a torch can beat me alone, then a massive gank squad of NG++++ (not sure if NG determines their strength) Black Phantom Stone Giants is far beyond overkill.

You cannot begin to understand how excited i was to find his Gravelord Sign. I wanted revenge, and i wanted it bad. During the fight with him i could hardly focus, i just wanted him dead, lol. I may not be able to kill his towering minions, but i can go to the source and kill their leader.

Now, the fact that this was not my only successful Gravelord Servant encounter of the night (it was my first, though) leads me to believe that the patch i received to my game yesterday has finally fixed the Gravelord Covenant. I've tried looking up info on this random, quick patch i received, but could not find anything official. However, considering how well the Gravelord Covenant was working tonight, i think i can say it has been fixed entirely.

    Fellow Gravelords and Gravesworn,

We really should have one day of the week to get together in one are a curse it. It should be a frequented area and maybe we will get more videos like the one above.

I propose we do this at least 2 times per month. I will then make a poll on which day of the week. Then time frames will be voted on. I invite everyone even if you are not a Gravesworn member. If you go to Peeve blog (http://darksoulspvp.blogspot.com/) he seems to have turned into a Gravelord because of the experience.

I'm not gonna lie this name would be more suitable for a covenant of Blueblood sword users on Demons.

I don't know much about bluebloods but this is not a new player made covenant. I am sorry if that is the impression I am giving. I will make this info available also in the PvP section because it is basically about PvP.

I fought against him. I haven't PvPed with him... but I might have been the one that infected him with whiskey. Whiskey can say this too. Will see if I am right or not, by watching the rest. Although, I know this guy.

Edit: Sigh, never mind. he was an Xbox Player. I saw a similar person with Kirk Armour, a Shield, and a Katana in the Forets when I was gravelording with Whiskey at one point. Too Bad.

I still remember the first one DV... remember how I got no one? I got better luck just Gravelording in certain areas. Mostly in New Londo, which is a fantastic place to gravelord. That, and Sen's & Demon Ruins.

yes i recall Acidic, the soul level has a lot to do with this. I also like new londo very much the BPs are challenging and plenty full. I still want to do what you and whiskey did but with a large group and call it the Cursed tour of lordran or something like that hehe

Was that you in that video? If so, you are scary good with parries. The only kind of parry I would every be good enough to immediately riposte on would be a setup...

No I am the one who got parried and riposted. He invaded my world as I am the one spreading misery.

It seems that it is 50/50 DV. You might need to find a breaker of this stalemate. Perhaps a bump might suffice for all to see, hm?

LOL, you will get your cat munchies haha. These weekly (because weekly won) cursing gatherings will be local time. Hopefully as the word gets out each local group will grow bigger.

Say we choose day X then we choose a time for day X say 8 pm. This would be local time. If anyone wishes to enter at someone else's local time they are welcomed to.

Viral, do you think that would work? I will once this is settled, ask Japanese players to join also. Is there a Spanish mirror site to this one? I will go there too. hahaha :cyclops:

You got spanish, italian, french and japanese forums to spread this too. You should choose a weekday since saturdays are a combination of FC and cov wars
