False. They do not. Only the painting guardians stay (and the BS, of course).

They don't. I'm absolutely positive of that one. I actually just had to get someone to mule me a Silver Knight Spear for my new Havel's Great Shield/Spear build, because I accidentally killed Gwynevere before I farmed one, and with all the Silver Knights gone I had no other way to get one.

Actually the Mimics, and I'm not sure about this because I've never done it this way, but I'm willing to bet that the titanite Demon stays as well.

Maybe it got patched cause in the wiki
If a player kill Princess Gwynevere,
Anor Londo will be plunged into darkness. All mobs, except the Silver
Knights and the Painting Guardians, will despawn and no longer be
    available in the current playthrough.

Either that or whoever posted that in the wiki was wrong. Wouldn't be the only false info in the wiki. I've come across some from time to time.

On the Kirk page, for example, someone claims that he appears in a few places where he absolutely does not. Or at least it used to be there. Not sure if it still is or not. The last time I was there someone posted under it calling the original poster an idiot, but it wasn't deleted yet.

Yeah that's definitely not true. I can post pictures. Unless, like the last time I got into one of these debates, we've just discovered yet another difference between regional versions?

I know for a fact that my copy has the Silver Knights gone in Dark Anor Londo.

Dough- The bug is a parasite, why must it be the Witch? After attempting to rekindle the First Flame from a soul (note: not necessarily hers, but you get it from BoC so that would make sense), she would lose her Soul and all of her Lordly power. Why would she be transformed into a bug and hang out at the middle of Bed of Chaos?

On a somewhat related note, the Demon Firesage existed before the Bed of Chaos. What's up with that? Also, his fire spells are not pyromancy, but fire magic cast via a catalyst.

I was wrong. My copy does have Silver Knights. I just searched my Dark Anor Londo thoroughly and there are a couple kicking around way back towards the bonfire that Solaire sits at. I've got the sword wielder by the big spiral staircase and the spear wielder in the room across the hall from the fire, but that's it. All the others have gone.

That's really strange that it'd be so different for different players.

the bug does sort of look like one of the witch's daughters. Also, her children got turned into hideous creatures when the bed was made, why not her as well?

Because she was mutated by chaos. Quelana only survived because she wasnt with her mother at the time (I think). And you get her soul from it. Theres no reason for it not to be her.
Thak god I was right about the silver knights lol.

I really thought so too, like I said I was so positive I went to the trouble of having someone mule me an SKSpear because I didn't think I could get one myself. But logically why would I assume that there'd be a couple hiding down there with the rest gone?

So a few weeks ago I was browsing lore theory threads and I came across someone talking about something in the text dump that refers to examining a brilliant light. Does anyone know if anyone's figured that out yet? Because I've been hunting for probably my last 8 in game hours and am coming up totally empty handed.

    Straight from in-game:
    Lord Soul
Soul of the Bed of Chaos and the mother
of all demons. This Lord Soul was found
at the dawn of the Age of Fire.

The Which of Izalith attempted to duplicate
the First Flame from a soul, but instead
created a distorted being of chaos and fire.
Its power formed a bed of life which would
become the source of all demons, and is more
than enough to satiate the Lordvessel.

So, the mother of all demons. If only we could find something to connect phrase "the mother of all demons" to a person. Anyone got anything?
Another strange thing. Wasn't Izalith a person? If Izalith was a PERSON, than a Witch of Izalith was a follower of Izalith. Quelana or Quelaag or the Fair Lady. Or another one. If I'm wrong, and Izalith is a place (I always thought that Izalith was a place based off of the main witch), then forget this paragraph hahahaha!

Huh. I guess I've had it wrong all this time =/ I guess when I heard "The witches of Izalith" in the intro, I figured "The witches following Izalith." *shrug*

I think something you can definitely be sure of is that the lore info is vague and confusing. I don't think anyone could fault you for it.

Hahah! Yeah. Maybe that's why my favorite part of the lore is everything surrounding Pyromancy. I love hearing and reading everything about the witches who weaved great firestorms. I REALLY hope they include Fire Sorcery in the next Souls Game. I want to be able to use the Izalith Catalyst and create some awesome fire spells. Kinda sad we can't share that kind of skill with the witches we find in-game. Just pyromancy, which was born out of the chaos.

Izalith a person? All I know is that it was a seriously badass city to rival Anor Londo.

I was just mixed up hahahaha! It isn't a person. "Witches of Izalith" means the witches from Izalith. Not the followers of Izalith.

I think Nito would have to be my favorite. I'm not really familiar with any of the lore surrounding him but his character is amazing bad *** and the gravelord servants are by far my favorite covenant. Actually I'm enjoying the dragons more and more too.

I think too that the bug is the Witch, severely corrupted and transformed by the Chaos Flame. Do you guys remember King Allant from DS? The Witch received almost the same fate. The Firesage Demon is actually confusing, check his catalyst description:

Demon catalyst formed from Izalith molten rock. Can be used as fire weapon. The Demon Firesage was the first demon, and the last master of the original fire arts, before the Witch of Izalith was engulfed by Chaos, creating pyromancy."

This means that when the Witch created the Chaos Flame, the BoC was born, along with all the demons. Her transformation was not instant, it seems time had passed while the Demons roamed Izalith. Then after some time she couldn't control the Chaos Flame and eventually (or instantaneously) transformed into the little bug.

The firesage was the last human to master the fire sorceries. He was then transformed into a demon. The spread of chaos was gradual, not instantaneous however Izalith (a city lol) was basically wiped out by its creation and the surrounding area soon followed.

Ok, thanks Wyrm. Why are the Fire Arts and Pyromancy are mutually exclusive in Lordran? Did they evolve into pyromancy with the advent of Chaos or what?
