2vs1s & 3vs1s Are they really that bad.

I have to admit the average people who host with summons are almost always trash players who just want to mash r1 get souls repeat. What if people who actually enjoyed having fun in pvp were who you ended up having to fight. I look down upon it like most others but i have thought of some fun sounding ideas i have sadly never seen done.

Gwyn and his knights(host has full gwyn gear and 2 black knight summons)to make this more fun you could require the black knights to fat/medium roll. this would be perfect for kiln. yet ive never seen it.

Rhea and her guards(this is very similar. also would be more fun if fat roll was required for nico and vince cosplay and rhea had no weapons) this would a be a good one for totg or catacombs.

Father and Daughter(onion family. both fat roll one with claymore(daughter) Zwei(father) no elemental versions.

3 Sealers of New Londo(3 players all crimson sets with tin banishment catalyst and ghost blade,soul arrows and variations allowed)

Ornstein & Smough(obviously no ninja flips these are all supposed to be authentic cosplays)

im sure theres others im not thinking of. is this trolling or is this good ol fun. I personally dont do stuff like this but i do enjoy when i find a good 2vs1 or 3vs1 where they actually attempt to have fun rather then just ganking you as you spawn. and doing stuff that is cheap in a 1vs1. what would you guys think if you ran into people doing this. troll? creative troll? fun? pussys who are afraid to fight?

If you are like me, getting hit with R1 Guys usually leads to never being able to defend themselves. it is my fault, of course... I have no Poise, and I stagger REALLY easy. if you get caught by a Greatsword with 0 poise, and they keep swinging, you will not be able to escape. it is sad, really. Shows the power of a large sword, eh?

yea i agree cook 3vs1s and 2vs1s where people not only spawn gank the idea of this is to basically for the host and summons to gimp themselves to even out the playing field. but obviously still have the advantage. i didnt mention it but obviously no healing on the hosts part.

if i ran into people doing this and actually obeying the guidelines i would actually be pretty happy. it would be like an awesome boss fight. rather then a game of chance on whether you can get away from the spawn point and score a backstab on the host.

I would be totally cool with cosplay groups attacking me. The best one I ever had was in the Forest. I was doing my usual recon around the tree demon area and out of nowhere an Ornstein comes charging in. He must have been pretty close and just sprinted at me. I avoid a couple stabs and started scouting his attacks to try and find a weak point (I'm not great against spears) and in comes a slow trudging Smough. They beat me pretty bad so I don't know if they would have healed etc. if I had started to win but I got a chuckle out of that.

yea shiva and body guard was one i just realized i forgot about. that would actually be one of the most powerful imo. i think rhea and nico/vince would be fun because its basically all about protecting the host. i think maybe in that case if its down to just rhea she should be able to heal seeing as thats all she can do.or maybe give her some cestus

That would actually be a cool idea for a group co-op run.

Rhea would be Princess Guardian or whatever and just provide support.

1v2s and 1v3s are really difficult to win if any of the 3 can fight. 3 claymores? I'm probably going to win. 2 claymores and a mage or some dude with avalyn? SCREWED. 70% of the time.

The 3 brothers. Gwyn's Firstborn, Gwynevere and Gwyndolin. The first one fights with a DSS or Sunlight Blade weapon (hammer or sword). Gwynevere cast her support miracles. Gwyndolin cast Soul Spear and Homing Soulmass. I would love to do that.

Nah, nah. Does he have a dragon friend with a dragonslayer bow, that is somewhat invisible. if so, run! Ya get backstabbed that is worth about over 2000 damage!

i have seen smough and ornstein in the forest a couple of times and it was awesome!!! i got my *** kicked casue i was laughing the whole fight lol

i have seem Smough and Ornstein guys and 3 black knight guys before. how ever they all ninja flipped.

also seen random cos players ganking together, like a Kirk, Lautrec and Solaire

Rynn....sounds good. Just make sure there's communication to your opponents that it's one on one.

If you are not up to the challenge maybe you shouldn't be PVPing. While some peoples tactics are not always honorable they are still operating withing the rules of the game.

Quite frankly nothing satisfies me more then squaring off against 3 spawn gankers and watching them fail. When the odds are stacked against me I don't feel cheap for trying to kite or drag them into mobs. Do what you need to survive.

I did find a 2some of ornstein/smough one evening and it was some of the most fun I've ever had doing 2v1's. The idea is definitely cool, just gotta get people on board with it.

yah im actually pretty tempted to do this. also just to see how bad *** of an invader i can find. So far what do you guys think the coolest idea is? and what location would be most fitting for it? im pretty sure i am going to do this for fun. i can even let people know when i will be doing it, if they want to invade and spam bs on all of us lol.

I like the idea of the O&S twosome because it's like a repeat boss fight. Ornstein spams while-dashing attacks and lightning bolts. Smough spams while-dashing and jump attacks. That would be fun.

Just fought a dragon pair. One uses TWoP/stone greatsword r2, the other is invis and bow backstabs.

Although most of the gankers in the Forest still wear Havel's, giant's and the family masks, I sometimes get to see some groups who don't take it too seriously. I've seen a few O & Smo and Solaire & Oscar duos and some other cosplayers. And one time there was a lonely host who cosplayed the mage NPC. It's always fun to encounter those players.

what i figure is theres tons of gankers and 3vs1s so i see no harm and trying to have fun with the idea. especially if the plan is to pretty much gimp ourselves to level the playing field. of course 3vs1 will never be fair. Im thinking of doing sl80 rhea,vince,and nico in the catacombs. we could not hit the switch or something and when the invader goes and sees the door is blocked and im not in that area they will return to the room they spawn and see all of us standing in the dark. we could also do it in tomb of the giants down where you find the 3 that would probably make more sense. what do you guys think about rhea using soothing sunlight and bountiful sunlight? of course we cant stop the invaders from using humanity, but i would not be flasking.

with all those limitations i dont see this as being a troll. a sl80 invader with every different build possibility would be pretty evenly matched imo. especially since i wouldnt be flasking. i just dont see anyone being willing to make a build just for this tho.....anyone up for this or maybe one of the other ideas?

I'll do either one. I've got the gear for it, I think. Just tell me when.

im going to have to create a rhea build which ive been thinking about anyway. im not sure how it will go. people have many conflicting thoughts about pvp especially when it comes to 3vs1. I just dont want it to turn into an argument. cause in the end it basically is trolling

I am completely fine with fighting Rhea and her guards. I've encountered Smough in the forest but never Ornstein.
