In the Lord of the Rings, is it a problem if I think Gollum is adorable? Whenever he says somthing like "Protect the precious," or somthing, I'm like "Spare me the cuteness!" Am I the only one?

P.S. i'm still on the Two Towers, no spoilers!

It might be because the books have no pictures.

I also always liked Gollum and felt quite a lot of sympathy for him.

When (you will watch them or I will find you) you watch the movies, you will no longer think so. Also read The Return of the King.

I am currently on the second part of the Two Towers, so I still have a bit to go before the Return of the King. Also, I have an on-going rule that I will never watch the movie of a book that I have already read. I might make an exeption for LotR, but I'm not sure.

Why do you have that rule? If it's because movie adaptations usually suck, make an exception for LotR.

Mainly because adaptations don't do the books justice. So I don't watch Game of Thrones (though I hear it is a great show), but I loved the books. But, I will most likely make an exeption for LotR. It depends on if I can find it.

Also, see! I'm not the only one who thinks Gollum is cute! (Is it bad that I admit that?)

I think Lotr Movie is worth being seen. Fantastic pictures! Unfortunately I have seen movies first then read the books. It's as always: a movie can't catch every single word of a book and always leaves some details...

Gollum is really a tragedic being. But Adorable... No!
