Couple things. First, HCSM is not the best spell in PvP. And, you should have at least 32 intelligence to use it (to get the 5 orbs). It also casts quickly, so you don't need aa high dex to increase it's casting speed. So, if you still want to use it, I'd change the following.

Drop Dex to 40 and End to 37. Bump Int to 40 (to get the max use out of that catalyst).

So you're saying sacrifice some DEX and END in favor of more intelligence?

Do you think I need more attunement slots then, and what spell(s) do you recommend instead of HCSM?

I also didn't want to lose my fast roll either.

Yeah, it's definitely cool, but I wanted more of a DEX build than an intelligence build.

Also, wanted to be able to avoid resorting to the DWGR if at all possible.

You're not casting, so dex is kind of a waste.

I mean, gouging int loses you out on about 40~ ATR but that's also physical..With the int gouge you're hitting harder with magic damage. Soulmasses are hitting much harder. Got a hail mary with the soul spear, which will also hurt like hell with the 50 int, ring and crown.

And you got a solid two hander, as well as a good poker.

But, to each their own. :/

Any build is viable if you can master the setup. That said, I wouldn't use the wolf ring mostly because I'd be fast rolling most things coming my way. That amount of poise will save you from a katanas and lightweight weapons, but greatswords and up will stagger you. I'd say go with something to either increase damage or increase survival.

Yeah..My old man always said, "I can steer with my feet, but that doesn't make it a good idea"

So what, like Red Tearstone Ring or something?

If not red tearstone then bellowing dragon. If you go with the bellowing dragon you should switch HCSM with CSS so it's a more offensive build.
