It's getting eaten alive on Amazon. Basically it's not a game, but a $60 server access kit, for servers that don't work.

    (foreshadowed by Starcraft 2)

don't swap the paladins shield! It breaks the game - just pre-wrning you - Also DH's are a bit buggy atm

basically if you swap the Templars shield your game will crash and you won't be able to log in - DH's just are generally buggy - thats why I haven't played mine.

Bugs at launch? Hm. Welp, it's Blizzard. They tend to fix stuff sooner rather than latter.

    bnet tag:

    PPG3#1345

Got a solid 3 hours on last night and was very impressive. Didn't experience any of the glitches, though the servers were down for maintenance for about an hour and a half. played with my bro. really happy on how fast and easy it is to join up and play with friends with the new party feature. tons of quests. and the item system really ensures people you encounter won't be clones like what eventually happened with D2. Still too early to give final thoughts. But so far, really good. Gameplay is so smooth.

Haven't had any previous experience with the Diablo series; but I'm interested in getting this game. However, what I've heard about the game thus far varies wildly, so I would like to know if this game is, or isn't, a good game.

I just want to say this right now, all of you suck. Your computers being able to run Diablo 3 and whatnot, your respective existences rubbing it in my face. I'm disgusted.

    Love you all ~ <3

i had to shell out money for a new comp. and it wasnt cheap at all. but after my first little while on d3. its gonna be totally worth it. plus i can get back into my other favorite PC titles like Civilization, Starcraft, etc...

And really, D3 is not too PC intensive. I mean, i went overboard. But I could have made a system to run it for probably 700$. i mean its barely even testing my system at the moment.

Amos man, your wayyy ahead. I'm level 9 wizard right now. Just finished the Skeleton King. This playthrough I'll take my time. To learn as much as I can. But I'm really eyeing inferno mode. I want in on that big time.

And again, props to the co-op systeming. Made it as easy as it was in D2 but gave it a nice modern touch. I never played WoW, but I'm sure they've borrowed some ideas from there.

PPG - I explored everything on my first char - also because of beta I was level 13 when I fought skeleton king etc - but aye on my other chars than sorcerer I knew where key events etc were and was going for the act in under an hour achieves

ok cool. im expecting this first playthrough to be the longest. but to be honest, i only encountered a handful of side quests, but they all seemed worth it. i wasnt side tracked too much from the main quest, the exp, loot, and gold were all pretty worth the extra 10minutes. maybe later on they will get less appealing, but for now, wandering around is paying off.

theres two auction houses where players can buy and sell items. blizzard controls the whole thing. including the transfer of the item and payment.

1 is a fake money auction house, where ppl can buy and sell stuff using the gold currency in the game. the other auction house allows you to buy and sell stuff using real money.

Wait until someone takes that real money auction house and actually turns it into a home business of sorts.

My barbarian struggles on Inferno Act 3, My WD is Inferno Act 4 - he has lost his ability to kite due to all of the enemies flying towards him at such speed! My DH on Hell Act 2 is finding it a piece of piss, similar to how my WD Kited. The Mage - well um... She is only on Act 4 Nightmare - Diablo is a pain in the arse for a melee mage :L
