No white soapstone?

I'm on my 3rd playthrough and i could never get the white soapstone with this char (my main char)
No matter how many times i talk to Solarie he never gave me the stone.
My two other chars have the item normally, the problem is with my main one (and i will not delete it cause im almost getting the knights honor trophy)
oh, and i cant any kind of signs whit that char...

Maybe since you already have the white soap stone on you, you can't get another one?

im saying that i DON'T have the white soapstone on my main char... i did not get it on my first playthrough, neither in the second and not in the third...

And im doing nothing wrong, i talk to solarie, the dialog was the same with my two other chars and he gave the item, but not with my main...

Same thing happened to me on my first play through on a character. On second play through I didn't get it either, but then I looked around his feet, he dropped it on the ground instead of giving it to me. I picked it up off the ground with no issues.
