Very nice build, actually a little suggestion with the build.

Using the Murakumo you can stunlock a person, but it's possible they'll survive the assault at the very end and get away. With the Pyro, in your left hand, what you can do is stunlock and just at the last one use GC, hitting them before they get away and almost guaranteeing a kill. big grin

You can also set up the build to maybe use the Oolacile head piece, as it increases Pyro damage done.

yeaaah i guess i really don't need that 77 poise since most of my chars/builds stick between 40-55

It's a bit more fun without the Giants as well, it's very practical, but you see it so much around. Most enemies you'll find use Greatswords, a few use Ultra but most use just Greatswords for Stunlocks. Meaning around 55 poise is just great, so you can focus a bit more on offense.

Well think of this one, as build number one. Then you could add another build, build number two. Come up with some ideas for people to build toons that are great at fighting multiple enemies. big grin

I bet they would appreciate that in For the Glory of Alvina.

56 poise to resist the MLGS, which is the most common weapon I see in the forest. Otherwise, looking good.

I've got a similar build, only it's at 225. 8 att slots gives you a lot of room for creativity. I like to cast acid surge to get some breathing room and you can start tossing fireballs, cast another surge, then Chaos Storm. Fire Surge is also good for keeping them at a distance, which is weird 'cause it does next to no damage. Hah. I also use the Crown of Dusk for an extra 20 percent pyro damage. Even if you go down, you make 'em earn it.

Seems reasonable to use the surges rather than great Chaos fireball 'cause i usually don't lock for it and use the lava as cover to cast fire tempest and they seem under used except firesurge

That's the great thing about having so many slots. All the spells have their own situational uses, and when you've got one for every situation you'll be all the better for it. And seriously, wear the dusk crown. It's boss.

Oh, and the difference with Acid Surge is that it'll buy you LOTS of time. Plus, I'm pretty sure they can't see what the hell you're doing in there. Surprise! Chaos Storm. Catch my drift? Haha.

Yeah i understand and i'll wear the crown for sure but 8 att sounds like a lot if yah ask me. I like to plan out spells that i know i'll use for sure and that will guarantee me an offensive and defensive during situations like a 1v2 or more. Besides i wanna end the match quicky 'cause the phantom always gets in the way, tanks some hits and gets flasksed by the host.

I only have 8 'cause I went to 225. But really just go with your playstyle. Whatever you do best with.

It just occurred to me that WOTG into Fire Tempest would be fun against gankers.

Something like this http://tinyurl.com/6qp7a8k. And you easily adapt this build if you wanted to buff. No murakumo though sad

I'd do it the other way around. AoE pyro spell, then when they rush in after, you wrath 'em like a boss. Either way, it's a solid combo. Good thinkin', my man.

The wrath is a solid choice for 3v1s, but i'd get more slots for spells. I mean, having high weapon damage is obviously important, but in my experience having the spells to make room and separate the baddies has been the deciding factor in the majority of my wins. MLGS is AWESOME for locks though, provided the other baddies aren't slamming you. That's why I prefer the spells.

Indeed. However in my experience, WOTG makes up for a lack of ability to split people with spells. Personal preferance I guess. But hey, there's no level cap here, just keep adding points to attunement and have both.

No reason you can't wrath and pyro. I would have done it on my build, but I decided to stack endurance so I could fast roll and have hornet ring for BSing and clutch parries against gankers. Another MASSIVE advantage in a ganking.

That's a brilliant idea. Not only that but the build i just posted has enough endurance to swap the FAP ring for a Hornet Ring. I might have to do this at some point.

If you do multiple playthroughs, just save the extra FaP ring so you can experiment and go back to it if you change your mind. Swap it for hornets/havel's setup or whatever suits you. I go hornet/havel so I can still get the poise, have the hornet, and equip the weapons I want and STILL fast roll. It's pretty much everything you'll want altogether.
