STR/FAI Weapon

Hey there Dark Souls' best and brightest. I've recently begun a character focusing on Strength and Faith as the main stats. I'd like to know which weapons people think I should use. It's not as simple as picking Grant or Crescent Axe, you see I'm a bit of a min/max'er and it can make character creation and playthroughs tedious.

I'd like to PvP, and from what experience I have with my Ultra-Greatsword character, weapons like Grant and such are just out of the question. Although the scaling makes it a perfect weapon, most large weapons are just too cumbersome to be competitive. I've considered BKGA and BKGS, as well as the Crescent Axe, but in each case I'm worried the scaling will mean I'm not making the most of my character.

I would be looking at raising my Faith high enough to use WoG, DMB or SLB. Should I bother creating a Divine/Occult weapon, just go with a conventional elemental weapon or use a Strength scaling weapon (I am aware BK weapons cannot be buffed).

Alternatively should I just spring for Grant in conjunction with TWoP?

you can get a man serpent gs and use sunlight blade on it, if you get your str up to 30 you can use the demon great machete, the msgs is pretty awesome.

Yeah the MSGS has had a lot of good things said about it. My strength character uses the Machete and honestly apart from it's roll attack it's absolute rubbish. Thinking I may shift more points into Faith for WoG/Lightning Spear and use a Lighting Claymore or something along those lines.

The MSGS. It has the speed of a claymore and the power of an ultra-gs. If I were a str toon I'd use that. But I'm not.

If you are using a STR weapon with darkmoon or sunlight blade, how do you spend stats? Asuming the weapon has S or A ranking in Str.
50 Str and 30 Fth? Or 30 Str and 50 Fth? Or 40/40? What would give the highest bonus?

why would you use a elemental weapon if you are a strentgh/faith build.

like people are saying pick a weapon and buff it with DMB/sunlige

my machete build had 40 and 40, he does around 650 with the roll attack and you really shouldn't be using anything else beside that attack, if ou start spamming r1 you leave yourself open for a bs, for me it works and it's my fave sword with the msgs as close second.

Great Club +15 with 34 stretght 2 handed + Sunlight Blade at min faith (30) = 901 damage.

btw I always test everything on the bks at the kiln.

the great cub is good when the other person is lagging because the pound atttack will hit them but if you get some one that knows how to doge youre screwed. And why would you use ightning weapongs if you're going for a str/fai hybrid? If anything use chaos weapons. It all comes down to which weapn you're most comfortable with. I'm sorry about the mistakes I'm using m phone btw.
