    Priscillas Dagger Empty Priscillas Dagger

Post by Eolan Wed May 02, 2012 7:01 am

SO i have one at +3 right now, and my partner in crime just gave me another one. I havent tried this and i will tonight, but i wanted to see if u guys have any answers for me.

I wanna dual wield them and i was wondering will they stack the bleed damage? Is this (as i imagine it to be) a super fast way of bleeding an enemy?

You're gonna wanna have a lot of time practicing that weapon's parry animation. It can be practical just like anything else. I used this for a while as a secondary weapon and the bleed is dependent on the number of hits you land as each hit does a set amount. So dual wielding will only build bleed faster if you it makes you land hits faster. The R1 animation is already crazy fast and cycles between two hits over and over meaning you can spam it very fast if you find an opening. I'm not sure dual wielding will make you any faster but always give something a whirl if you're interested in and good luck!

Yeah ive been playing a parry build with parrying dagger+15 and bandit knife +15. What ive found is that the left hand quick strike is handy when im outta stamina as an extra few smacks (i use the mask of the child) as they draw back for a hit. So im thinking if i cant get the bleed form the right in time, i can maybe stack an extra few with the left.

The parry knife is a bit easier to use than the priscilla though so im not sure.

In testing I was able to perform about a dozen R1 hits in a row before running out of stamina. The quick strike you mention might get a couple extra hits if they're retreating but if you can catch all the hits from one handing they should bleed. The problem, as I see it, won't be stamina management because like I said, you should get a ton of strikes before running out. The issue I had with bleed triggering is that a quick move away in PvP and you have to chase them down again. If you're successful landing extra hits using the left hand attacks then it should be effective. I was able to kill several people without bleed triggering using the dagger without ripostes and without backstabs. The speed is outrageous and I found I did more damage to players typically than hollow soldiers int he Burg (NG++) which I think is due to the occult status. I guess a good summary is that bleed is gonna be tough to trigger and I recommend whatever strategy will get the most hits in a flurry.

I think the left hand is just working as a surprise element. I'm about to do some tests and ill let you know if they stack bleed together.
