Re: The recipe thread
Hoo ha.....everyone assumes that I'll start with Buffalo Sauce but I am about to trick you by adding a recipe for:
Miscake:
Ingredients:
cake
1 pint strawberries
1 pint blueberries
1 pint raspberries
confectioner's sugar
Ok....so some lazy steps first.
Step 1: Go get a vanilla cake mix and applicable extra ingredients. NOT a white cake and yes there is a difference.
Step 2: Make the cake per the mix instructions, substituting apple sauce for oil (same quantity)
Step 3: Once the cake is cooled carefully use a knife to hollow the cake, leaving about 3/4 of an inch cake on the sides and at least 1/2 an inch of cake on the bottom. Make sure to save the extra cake you cut out in a big bowl. Gently compress the bottom of the cake to make it more dense.
Step 4: Slice 6 or 7 large strawberries and put them aside for later. Dice the rest of the strawberries. Cut the raspberries in half and place them in a bowl with the whole blueberries and diced strawberries.
Step 5: Mix the cake you removed earlier with the fruit you just cut.
Step 6: Place the fruit/cake mix back in the cake. It should be approximately level with where the cake originally came to.
Step 7: Decorate the top of the cake with the sliced strawberries from earlier.
Step 8: For a little more "sweet" dust with confectioner's sugar
Why is it called "miscake?"
After my daughter was born I took a month off of work (and played Demon's Souls when she slept). My wife's birthday was during the month I was of and I figured I would surprise her when she got home from work with a cake. I planned on making a typical rectangular cake, cutting it in half and placing fruit in the middle then decorating with whole fresh berries. Unfortunately, I had to squeeze everything in around an infant's schedule, leaving no time to cool the cake properly. When I tried to get it out of the pan it ripped in a very difficult to use way. So.....I placed the chunk that ripped out back in the pan and did the above recipe on the fly. Now I make it per request.

Re: The recipe thread
Does this thread tolerate excessive use of four letter swear words? I have some cool recipes saved as images but the creators decided that they would be easier to understand if they called their food a mother****er every second sentence.

Re: The recipe thread
How I please vegetarians (otherwise, replace tofu with cooked meat):
1/2 Onion chopped
1 pack sliced mushrooms
Several rainbow mini peppers, sliced
1 pack tofu, firm, cubed
1 boil bag brown rice
1 jar pasta sauce
Saute onions, peppers, mushrooms, and tofu in olive oil. Use lower heat and saute for 6 or 7 minutes. Bring rice to a boil in a saucepan at same time. Remove veggie/tofu mix from heat. Once rice is ready, add rice back to saucepan. Add veggies/tofu on top of rice. Add jar of pasta sauce on top and heat low, stirring well. Add garlic and any other favorite spices to taste.
10 minute meal that packs nicely into tupperware for leftovers.

Sorry but no. You may paraphrase Epic Meal Time. Which I imagine reads like this:
Bacon
Bacon
Add bacon
Cheese
Alcohol
Bacon

Re: The recipe thread
Simplicity is key.
I was bored and hungry, and since I'm a college student I'm poor and don't have that big of a food selection.
Just mix some Garlic Powder and Butter.
Spread it on some bread.
Put some mozzarella cheese on it.
Then put some pepperoni's on it.
Slide it into the oven for a little bit.
Good to go.

I really hope I'm not going to ruin this thread with my uncultured food. I can hardly compare bacon rolled cheese to a "miscake" or some vegetable based meal.

I have bunch of great ones that contain a few swears annoyingly strewn around them, so I'll send you them. After all, who doesn't want some mother****ing rainbow brownies?

I'll defer to the admins on this one - Emergence, can Digi PLEASE post the mother****ing rainbow brownies?
Also I have no idea who came up with that bacon thing, but I'm going to assume it was either Cthulhu or someone under the influence of Cthulhu

Hello! Don't worry, I'm here to help.
So, why don't you cook like something like I don't know, some thing with like very much fat, and very much carbonates, that's always great, you can't go wrong with it I'd say.
Hope I could help!
(I might be the wrong guy for this)
