New SL 85 PvP Build

On my other characters, I only sometimes delved into the use of whips. I found that I could make pretty good use of them. Therefor, I decided to craft a PvP build based around it.

Looks great, you could have alot of fun with this. It's unique, but it is also well planned. Well done.

A good side-effect of this build is that, at 12 Str, you'll be able to wield the majority of Dex weapons, too (right now you can wield: all the curved swords and piercing swords, and some of the straight swords--Balder Side Sword included). Whips are a lot of fun, but you'll probably want some variety once in a while! You could consider:

13 Str: in addition to all the Dex weapons you can wield now, would add the Winged Spear and Partizan
14 Str: all of the above, plus Uchigatana and Iaito.

Also, if you like parrying, I'd recommend you try the whip in your offhand. You can parry with it and still have 1 attack, which can't be parried. Combined with another dex weapon in your main hand (Painting Guardian Sword, Estoc, Balder Side Sword, spears, etc) this makes a very lethal combo.

Decided to lower the weight just a bit armor wise to open up the Demon Spear. Just a fun experiment I'm trying out. I was having a lot of trouble against longer weapons, and this really helps balance out the fights

Just don't switch from your whip to the demon's spear while you have CMW active, otherwise you'll cancel your CMW. The spear will be a good weapon to switch to once the buff wears off, though, and if you need a quick hit to finish off your opponent when he's low on health.

You can have those exact stats and only be at level 82 if you start as a wanderer.

^Nah, that button can be misleading. If a stat is left at base value, the editor assumes you don't care about it and ignores it when figuring out which class is better.

In the case of this build, he's using all those stats that are left at base. The wanderer ends up being the same level as the pyro if you bring up those stats (Att to 12 for 2 slots, Str to 12 for Demon Spear).

I made one more revision of this build that bumps the level up to 90, but balances the stats out a little better.

Just make the whip regular instead of lightning (it will hit harder), and it looks good.
