By now surely a lot people know about the answers, but so that everyone can know.

What happens if you kill the Four Kings before obtaining the Lordvessel?
The Bonfire at Kaathe can always warp, regardless of the items you posses.

What happens when you kill Smough and Ornstein at the same moment?
Super Ornstein appears (tried it twice, once Smough having slightly more hp than Ornstein and once the opposite, though probably it's a 50/50 chance and I just got the same result randomly).


Is there any other crazy idea someone came up with I could test?

You can't kill the 4 kings before attaining the lord vessel. Impassable fog gates block you from fighting any of the 4 lord bosses before you get it.

there is no impassble fog gate for four kings - otherwise you couldnt join DW's

But you can't access it until you have the LV in your inventory. You just can't give it to Frampt. You have to go kill O&S and speak with Gwynevere first. Don't just take my word for it. Go try it. Start a game and try to fight the Kings first. Go right into New Londo from your first visit to the Firelink Shrine.

Part of the ritual of becoming a Dark Wraith is Kaathe taking you to the Firelink Altar to deposit the LV. He doesn't even offer to make you a DW until after you do that with him.

You have to kill Ingward and he drops the Key to the Seal, Kill Sif for the Covenant of Artorias, and then you can kill the Four kings.

.. u kill the sealer get the key - open door unflood - trust me - I have done this many times before - almost all of my DW chars lack the Lordvessel - you just need CoA to do it.

What happens if you never attack Gwyndolin, but instead only chase after him down the endless hallway?
- You eventually reach a dead end, and he stops warping.

can u loot SB then at the end of te hallway?

It's another hallway on a different part of the map. I think tolvo fell through the stairs in darkmoon tomb and landed in the endless hallway.

I tried this again yesterday, when fighting gwyndolin, and used a stopwatch to check the length of it. It took 5 minutes to sprint from one end to the other, so it's pretty long.

What happens if you try to go up the ladder from the Dark Root Basin into the hunter area before buying the crest and unlocking the door? I've thought about it a few times but never actually tried

Nothing, you can simply go to Sif this way without spending 20k souls, you can't open the door from the other side.

That's actually really good to know. That 20k can hit your wallet pretty hard early in the game

But the NPCs make up for it really fast.

I did it that way on my first playthrough, quite a pain getting past those Cats though.

Okay. Really noobish question about trophies/achievements.

Do I have to get the weapons AND keep them with me for the "A Knight's Honor" trophy to unlock? Or can I get them and then sell them?
