Falchion in PvP.

Been messing around with it lately. Turns out it's effing awesome. I'm using a +15 on a DEX/ VIT build and with the the high swing speed, it puts out A LOT of damage. And fast. I use the charcoal resin for a little extra damage, as well. Don't see many people using falchions in PvP. I think you guys should mess with it. Might surprise you.

Try to use painting guardian sword+15 with buffing u will see which one better.

For me the PGS's range is a little too short. I'll give it a whirl though. Thanks, man.

I'll occasionally dual wield some +14 Falchions (Damn those slabs) and it's a really neat playstyle.

yeah i just posted a thread where i praisd the awesomenes of this little curved sword you have good tiste i have a chaos class with 16 str and 14 end just enough to weild greatswords and some other stuff and i gotta say chaos fachion 2h is fricking beast it hacks so fast and the moveset is very wide to i just love it but unlike you i went elemental path cause i didnt invest any points in dex and str (lol and I am sl 120)

Hah. Yeah, I'm really digging it. Seems like their HP just melts away when you start swinging it. I think it's underestimated by opponents just because they don't see it often enough. It's definitely beast though.

very awesome weapon indeed. the painting guardian sword with a buff really needs to be tried out as well. hidden gem.

was hoping the scimitar would also be amazing...but sadly, not so much.

It's even better when it's buffed with DMB or CMW. Can you imagine the damage per second with this weapon? Very muck like the kilij. Lethal.

it goes reall well with my 50 vit and my 95 poise

I was using an enchanted (the one you find) +5 with an int of 50. It was a beast, never tried duel falchion though hmmm... Sounds fun.

I'm making a dual fire scimitar build soon once i finish my INT build with the enchanted falchion

LOL um yaaa PW with a CMW buffed falchion and 91 poise....its like throwing farmers into a wood chipper....whats a parry ill just eat hits from this weird little glowing sword while I try to hit you with me BKGA instead!!!!!

I know, right? Give me two seconds. GAME OVER, pal. Haha.

The falchion and any fast sword thats buffed is lethal if you have the poise to take a couple hits...if they are dumb enough to go toe 2 toe with a slow weapon its a REAL quick fight...when you throw PW into the mix its scary!

I also have a guy I invade all the time and we have 0 poise no buff falchion fights its super fun...even unbuffed with good scaling it hits hard and fast.

Its really easy to miss judge its reach as it looks real short, against the op yesterday i got afew shocks at the range of it. Then he swapped to a stabbing sword and i managed to steal the fight(you should have stuck to the falchion)

same funny thing about the fight... The whole time you were fighting the other phantom, i was racking my brain as to where i knew your name from, was trying to work out if i had seen you farming in the forest. Then after our fun fight i messaged you gg and signed out, 2 mins later i was on these forums and 1st post i saw was from you.... Thats when the penny dropped and i worked out where i had seen the name before lol yes im slow....

Haha. It's awesome randomly running into guys from the forum. I ran into Glatts17 (DarkW) in the Kiln one night shortly before I joined, and then I run into him here. It's cool to play with everyone. Lot of BEAST players out there.

91 Poise? Is this a newly recognized break point?

Just started using the Falchion in PvE and I really like it. I'll have to give it a go in PvP.

LOL no 78 is all you need and what I always use to take 1 ultra greatsword hit and not get staggered...I stay true to my dark armour and wear dark mask/plate and havel gaunts/boots and this gives 78 poise kinda scary really! 91 is just retarded over kill to stand there and chop away at farmers without fear of a stunlock...I simply throw on havel helm with my above setup and 91 poise.

well its just a good combination with lots a vitality i by myslef have 95 poise and try to stunnlock me man!!! it tackes quiet a few hits and until then i chopped them appart with a 2handet fachion
