I don't know if it's the grey you are looking for, but this looks pretty grey to me, maybe a tad brown?... Assuming you know how to get to the skin colors, if not let me know, I have the first set a tad left of center, second set a little more tad left, third set just under the L of light, the fouth set the same as the second, and the final set a tad off to the left almost a full letter before the Y in yellow. If anything that should get you close enough to tinker around. If my eyes are deciving me then I apologize.

You have to fight the sliders to create custom colors. Raise A, lower B, raise A, lower B, and they should gradually move apart. Not sure what decides the hollow color, class and origin might play into that as well.

I have a dark grey character which looks black as night when hollowed, since when u get hollowed it seems the color darkens by more than half, fight the sliders, move one then the other then one again till you get what you want.

Yeah, I find it really annoying that you have to fight the sliders. I made a bright red character for my dragon toon, and a bright blue character for... the hell of it! Looked pretty cool when I was invading, because you could make out the blue under the darkwraith red. When I was in my own world, though, it just looked like a smurf! Maybe if we didn't have to fight the sliders, I'd make more subtle colors and characters (when I bother at all) rather than going all in one way.

I usually obtain normal human skin with different colours for my hollow. Got grey, blue, orange, dark red, purple...

Play with the sliders. It should help you get what you want.
