    Hello all, just wanted to ask a question about the online since i haven't played in a while.
    Was wondering what the online's like for the 360 version of the game, as last time i played it was many er many months ago.

    So just wanted to ask if theres any specific soul level people stay around? (as i remmeber it being all over place when i first got game) Also if this patch was released improved any of the matchmaking issues? as i rememeber always failing to be summoned or invading.
    Finally just if the 360 community is still active? i know its probably not as big as the ps3, but its still pretty much active right?

    Sorry if this is old news at all but just really havent kept up to date with this game. xD

    • Matchmaking issues have been improved.
    • 60,90,120 are all soul levels you see plenty of people at.

    A tiny word of advice though? Don't summon anyone that has really epic looking gear in the first area's. They will ruin the entire experience for you. Many players go back to the start of the game with ultra power gear, usually attained from glitches, to "help" newbies by killing a boss in 2-3 blows. Personally I'd recommend just not summoning any phantoms at all if you want the proper experience.

    Except at the bosses where the game provides you with summons like Solaire, especially Ornstein and Smough. Taking those two on solo isn't part of the experience, and unless you really, really know what you're doing you won't feel any better for having done it solo because it will have taken you weeks to make it happen. Totally not speaking from personal experience here...nope...

    I would say, try each boss on your own for a while before you consider to summon someone..easy rule to go by

    hm silly Also just occured to me, any clue to how weapon scaling is now?
    I just seem to remember it being fairly not good, most of boss weapons werent really as great as i thought.
    Just remember using smoughs hammer, it didnt really hit as hard as i thought it should.

    So is scaling good enough serperate the different builds, or are the lightning/fire weapons still the top choices?

    Edit:- On quick note are the bows/crossbows viable enough to use now at all? :S

    I would say scaling is decent, it shouldn't scale TO much, since that would break the balance, but it's not to low.

    Diffrent weapons is good for diffrent situations, Some enemies are weak to fire, others are weak to lightning, while some takes much damage of a non-magical weapon. At least, this is what I think about it.

    Bows and crossbows can be good to make enemies come at you one and one, and also, give you one or two hits before the enemy is close enough to hit you.

    I prefer the bows since them let you aim on your own in a much easier way than the crossbows.
    Ofcourse their damage isn't great but that's cause of their speed and long range.

    Ah, nice to know scaling is better, hopfully have more of choice in weps this time. xD
    Also finally is dragon covenant pvp alot better now? :S i used to love this covenant trying to get the dragons form but never found people to fight.

    I never said Scaling is better, I stated my opinion about the scaling system how it is now, however, I have never noticed any change in it, but that dosen't mean it haven't changed. So no promises.

    The dragon covenant pvp, I suppose you mean if you will get hosts by placing the dragon eye orb, on that, I cannot answear, since Use it I do not. But in world the remnants I see, But rarely summon them I do.

    Scaling IS better though. Weapons now gain better scaling during refinement, at +1, +6, +11, and +14.

    Ah, nice to know. Guess that means builds such as pure strength or dex are now viable?
    As in not needing spells to back them up? :s
    I never really minded making use of coating items though, just curious if those kinda builds are better now if points werent put into the INT and Faith stats.
