Greataxe or Zweihander?

Hi i would like to make a char using one of this weapons?whats better?
Faster?best Movements?

Imo the zweihander, hands down. Not quite as strong but comprable speed, much bigger hit box, lower requirements, dead angles really well, tougher to bs punish, the list goes on.

Oh make both elemental, the scaling sucks.

If you have 40+ str and 45 dex buffing should work well for Zweihander. My +15 gets +312 from having 50 str and 45 dex. The side roll stab of the Zweihander has the reach of long spears. It's one of my new favourites for pvp.

and chosing between Zweihander or claymore?the damage and reach makes diference?...clay is faster and very good movements.

I'd say it'll depend more on stamina regen and the Zweihander is a pig on stamina. At 40 end and with the fap ring on I have enough to roll away after 3 two handed swings. Zweihander can help you keep BS fishers and parry addicts at bay if you use its reach. Always two hand the Zweihander as the move set is the same and it felt as though R1 was faster two handed.

pvp=zwei+15

125 Pyromancer

24 Strenght
44 endurance
88 Vit

Giant armor,legs,gauntlets mask mother,dark wood ring,ring of favor,grass shield

if i use Claymore

16 strenght
40 endurance
99 vit

so vit build? just go with the second one.

Nooo don't encourage use of UGS's they are easy to parry if you dont know how to DA and also it encourages him to r1 spam if he vit gouges and uses a zwei/claymore, lets just say that would be a braindead build, at least imo it is. I would say dont use MoM or the giants armor, you dont need it you can go with a cooler less used armor etc;

ugs are easy to parry but only if youre close to your opponent, theyre kinda like spears, if you stay back a little and use the poke attack they wont parry you, they best they can do is a partial parry, it takes a lot of practice but it gets easier.

I'd use the *** ring or mom before going beyond 50 vit IMO.

Bollocks.
The Great Axe is faster (it swings faster, the recovery time after each hit is almost non-existent) and has almost the same range (yeah, just test it, you'll see) and has also a better moveset.

+ Elemental ?
If he plans on playing at sl 120 you couldn't make a worst choice cause the damages are split, the great axe has f*ckin high base damage and a good scaling in str (regular +15 : B Scaling in str and 350 base damage. Zwei has 325 and C scaling).

I'm using the axe on my str/int, I wasn't sure if I'd use the zwei or greataxe or demon's great axe and after some testing I found out that the axe is the best.

With only 30 str and 10 dex (the toon is only sl 80 and the axe +14 atm ) I have like 530AR one handed and 6xx+ (don't remember exactly) 2 handed and I've got like 839 2 handed with the buffs.

And, I know I'm repeating myself but elemental dmgs at sl 120 just sucks and I hate vit builds, not that I lose against them cause I don't but they're just sooooo boring so you better go for something else cause even with that high vit if I parry you, you're dead, and unfortunately UGS are easy to parry.

the ga has better scaling for sure but the OP should just try both a lot and pick the one he likes and feels comfortable with, it doesnt matter how powerful the weapon is is youre not that good with it. i personally like the zwei for pvp and the ga for pve.

I prefer the Axe, when I say it's the most powerful I don't mean in terms of damage only but also on the other aspects.
