So, we all know of different rings we consider OP and how they completely break the game apparently. But I was thinking about it, and what ring is there that people use in general PvP that isn't completely OP.

Every ring considered worth using is super powerful. Some are more noticeable for people to see and get called out more often like the DGWR and Hornet's ring, but honestly many of the rings you never notice are just as powerful. Consider the rings when compared.

    Cloranthy: 50% increased stamina regeneration
    Havel's: 50% increased equip load
Red Tearstone Ring: 50% damage increase with less than 20% health
Bellowing Dragon Crest Ring: 25% increase of spell power
Dusk Crown Ring: Doubles Castings, Halves health
Ring of The Sun's First Born: 20% increase miracle power
Leo Ring: 40% increase Pierce damage
    Wolf Ring: 40 poise
    Hornet Ring: 50% stronger criticals
    DWGR: You know
Ring Of Favor and protection: All that good stuff

OLD WITCHES RING???????? YOU CAN TALK TO QUELEENA?

Basically my point, although hornet and DWGR are noticeable, in my opinion plenty of the others are just as powerful, albeit less noticeable.

I agree, but the dwgr specifically, unbalances the armor load outs as it allows nearly every build to wear heavy armor and have fast movement without henious end, so light armors are pretty pointless most times.

Thats literally the only piece of equipment in the game I'd call op. Which is why everyone uses it. Its the reason I don't have a problem with twop. Its the only counter to flip tanks as a build type.

What is the percent of health increase for tiny beings? 10 percent? At 1000 hp that is pretty op, but, as Dakka said, that would only happen at a high sl.

5 percent, but you can get two if you start with one (?)

Not sadly, with 2 belowing dragon crest rings and the crown of dusk great combustion could do 800+ a hit. Imagine the spam.

i like the idea of 10% though, it might save you from a Back stab

EDIT: Imagine that with the red tearstone! first get BS'd, turn around and smack them with a super charged hit for delicious tears and DOSH! (grab it while you can, lads)

The thing about the DWGR, is it has the same exact effect of Havel's except Havel's is for those who are using an equip load above 50%, otherwise they might basically be the same thing.

And on the other hand, what if you used leo ring with hornet, that would be one powerful riposte.

Leo's ring dosen't increase riposte, does it? It increases "counters" which are when you hit someone in the middle of their weapon swing-animation.

That's correct. If you want more riposte damage, Hornet's ring is for you. But sadly, everyone who use it just want to fish for a backstab

Oh, and one more thing on the Leo ring. It only works for pierce weapons, like rapiers and spears.

No havels increases max equip burden by 50%, which adds 12.5% to fast roll equip burden where the dwgr increases fast roll equip burden by 25%.

Thats an enormous difference, and the actual benefit to equip weight grows exponentially because its a percentage bonus.

With 3 rings and a mask that have varying percentage equip buffs like that, the dwgr is op as the 50% from havels, the 20% from the rofap and the 15% from the mask of the father combined provided a 22% bonus to fast roll equip burden, where the dwgr alone is 25%.

The cool thing(although honestly, probably the best way to balance things like RoFAP) about % increases to stats in this game is that they stack multiplicatively. Meaning with MoM, RoFAP, and Tiny Being ring is that its not 5% its more like 8%. It still sucks though.
