Greatest Loss

Today I lost the most amount of souls I've ever lost: 3.3 million. I was pegged right off the buttress by the infamous Anor Londo archers. Then while going to retrieve I was killed by some bat winged demons. I know others have lost much more but I have no one else who I can relate to on this. So on the forum, do I lay my misery.

I swear one of these threads is made every couple of weeks, just saying kinda needless.

but you know, usually by the time you have that kinda soul count, you don't actually need it I find, maybe some kind of consolation

It's cool. You're right. At this point I only by arrows, curses, homeward bones and maybe some upgrades.

I lost more than souls man I lost Isara... oh wait wrong game. My worst was in the Parish after I had been Gravelording for well over 20 hours (not stright btw) and had earnt about 230,000 and 54 humanity. Lost all of that because of those lame *** sword hollows mobbing me.

I've lost more but that wasnt' really as crushing as this... or losing Isara after Mulberry Bay.

-Lost 1 Millon and 35 humanity to a Taurus Demon in Lost izalith
-Lost 2 million and 40 humanity to a Spear Hollow. (Failed parries ftw!) (Same Char)

-Lost 3 Million and 99 humanity to double invasion loss (didn't collect bloodstain)
-Lost 1 Million and 90 humanity to....A Giant Mushroom in the Great Hollow. (Same char, 3 days later)

These threads are fine imo, everyone needs some place to complain to people who understand. We Need a sticky thread so these stop getting made and are more consistent.

I was testing weapon damage on Gwyn when I had around 800,000 souls and 99 humanity. I was careful to make him kill me each time near the fog door so it was easy to collect my stain. Then I got bumped off that ledge by the Black Knight on a run-back.

What's funny is that I've always thought Black Knight armor makes them look "hippy."

Last night I lost 1.6 mil and 96 humanity from falling off a ledge in New Londo. My controller totally bugged out, it so wasn't me.

And now my controller is three controllers ...

I've lost a good deal of humanity and souls (forgot the exact numbers) because of the goddamn camera bugging out on a narrow bridge (the one in Sen's that leads to Iron Tarkus specifically). I have died in the most horrific ways possible, and lost god knows how many souls, but this particular incident was probably the time where I have been the most angry.

...and here I was, fuming to my brother who phoned me during a good run - 5 humanity and 23K souls - my respect to all of you. This is the most humbling game that I've ever had the privilege to play. Take a bow.......

theres nothing wrong with ranting after losing that many souls we all have had it happen. youll get them back soon enough. i stock up on everything i can think of when i start stacking up souls i mean like 99 of everything even if i dont use it often. the worse is losing 99 humanity because you lose a bunch of deff and have to work your way back to it.

Wow... I'm afraid to leave a bonfire with 100,000 and a few humanity... Losing millions... *cries in corner*

the most I have ever lost was about 93k souls and 12 humanity. I just shrugged and kept bashing my head against the wall like that hollow in the asylum.
