So last night I was PvPing in the forest and I was summoned by this guy that was so outrageously demanding that incurred the wrath a little bit. Before I was even completely summoned I received a PSN message asking me if I had any Dragon Scales. So assuming he wanted to trade I sent one back saying that I did but I didn't have anything on me. He responded saying "ok, go get them, but you have to have 1 armor set too." Still thinking I was negotiating a trade I asked which armor he was looking for.
He responded: "Giant, Great Lord, Dark, and do you have any good weapons?"
Me: "Well what are you looking for exactly?"
Him: "Your lightning weapons."
Me: "I don't have anything upgraded that I'm not using, I have an extra Favor set and 10 Dragon Scales I could give you, what is it that you're offering in return?"
Him: "I have to give you something?"
Me: "That's usually how it works."
At this point he dropped something and backed away. So I walked over and picked up 2 black chunks. At which point he started pointing at the door. Implying he wanted me to return to my box and get his things (keep in mind this is a pretty simplified paraphrase, this back and forth went on for about half an hour). While I was typing up a response a forest hunter spawned. So as annoyed as I was at this point, I followed him to the forest hunter, dropped one of his two chunks, and BSCed home. I mean I'm all for gifting if the person does something that warrants it. If I have something someone wants and I don't really need anything in return I generally will make pretty one sided trades or go out of my way to help people out who seem like they need it. I feel like a decent amount of people on the forum can vouch for that. I guess I feel like by being so demanding this kid completely negated any desire I might have had to help out a random player. Actually kind of made me want to kick him off a cliff.
Anyone else have anything like this happen?
