Artorias build help!

So recently I've tried making and Artorias build. Now this is sorta A cosplay but sorta not, I wanna mostly be like Artorias but I am not afraid of using other weapons if it suits whatever I'm doing better. And I have some questions. Here is the link: mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=391397968
1. Should I go PVP with this build? If so which covenant?
2. Any stat adjustments that would be for the better?
3. I am using the eagle shield for the sake
of weight but should I use the Greatshield of Art. or another shield like Grass Crest Shield?

Also if you see anything that should be changed I will consider it! Open to all suggestions! response is appreciated

1.Edit: i have decided that this will be more of a FTH/INT build rather than a cosplay of Artorias. But I'm still open to suggestions on equipment and stuff.

Is it the Light or Dark Artorias? For Light use the Greatshield of Artorias and the Light version GSoA. For Dark Artorias use Dark Hand, Cursed version of GSoA.

I would suggest instead silver knight chest for light artorias or black knight for dark.

Yeah that looks cool too. I wanted to look like the armor from the PC version pics, Ornstein's armor has a similar kind of skirt (?).

Just wait a couple months so you can REALLY be Artorias

Hmm I think I am leaning more towards light artorias. I tried to base his armor off the pics we have seen but that is most likely Dark artorias. So will use a different combo of armor! Thanks!

Firstly I would be cool if you considered the Scion's of Artorias as a potential User Covenat for this.

1- If ya pick up the SoA then either the Forest Hunters of Dark Wraiths.

2- You can make the Artorias build viable at a much lower SL that 200. I find 120 to be a really good SL for it. hell I'm not even at 90 and I'm still doing abnormally large amounts of Damage.

3- Grass Shield works well for recovery after your swings. Especially that nasty R2 wind up smash. The GShoA is pretty sweet and I'll be using that at SL 120 when I get there.

Looks great Viral, but he needs the Wolf ring, really. And you need 1 more point in Int to use Soul Spear.

Will adjust the faith value to compensate then. Hell i don't even need WoG to win half my fights with this build.

You should sacrifice 1 point of Vit instead, WoG is just too good if used correctly.

Thinking of going up with str and just enough dex to swing the dark knight halbard.
Tranquil walk seems like a clear choice, but not sure on what else. Was thinking about karmic justice just for teh laughs?

The build seems good but you are unable to use the GShoA with 24 str. You need at least 34. I'd suggest a less TWoP oriented char. Most PvPers are unforgiving about it and unless you want to be chain BSed or cheesed out I would take some kind of healing miracle. Replenishment was usefu when I was at SL 70ish.

Also, I don't mean to sound like I'm criticising, the choice for the Sword Dance is strange. Don't get me wrong I use it all the time on my lightly armoured GL but for an Artorias build it seems out of place.

Finally the Rings selection on this build leaves you with a slowish rolling move with a shield that won't protect you all that well. I reccommend the old Havels fliping tank. ts a pain but it keeps you alive. Oh and a switch to the old trustyGrass Crest for av protection.

It was not to strictly roleplay, but a build based around the sword, shield and look and themelike. I chose Tranquil Walk and Blade dance out of synergy. Almost stopped, and underground strike. Is it worse than Giants/Havel flipping really?
I've just noticed that for the most part when I try to cast a spell/miracle, I get backstabbed for all it's worth and I'm somewhat tired of it, that why the Tranquil walk of Peace.

And for the thematic part, the blade dance seems abyss-like in my mind. But maybe that is just me.

Was considering the Wolf Ring instead of Havels, and then just win by means of impossible to stagger, but it is just a theory.

Thats cool man. Its just that the Greatshield can't be used with anything less than 34 Str. If it weren't for that I'd never have upped my Str and insted invested more in Int.
