Thinking about building around parry/bs with a B. Knife or Rapier

I plan on using either a Bandit's Knife or a Rapier. Any tips, suggestions? This will be for PvP btw. I mainly want help deciding to put just enough into STR/DEX, focus on VIT/END, and use either Chaos or Lightning weapons, or using DEX scaling. I'm opting for the first choice so I can use a Hornet Ring for damage and be able to take a couple hits without the Ring of Favor and Protection, but I want suggestions.

There are two ways you can go about this build, low level or sl120 and they both require completely different approaches.

To make a low level build, get the base stats for the weapon you want to use, I'd go with a rapier because it will do more damage and higher crits than the knife when fully upgraded. After that focus on end and vit until you reach sl 40 or so, then stop. You'll get plenty of invasions and as long as you invade as a dw you'll get some challenging opponents.

To do a high level build focus on getting dex, vit and end to around 40, end can stop around 35. Then choose between int and faith and get one to around 40. Use weapon buffs along with a rapier +15 along with a backup weapon like an elemental estoc. If you want more in depth help let me know what exactly you're going for.

I'm gonna head for a high level (120-125) build, I want to get the most damage I can out of every bs/parry (Hornet Ring), but regular attacks I won't really focus on other than to try to influence the opponent to attack by poking him so I can parry or get around to bs. I don't want to have too much reliance on dodging (although I will try to dodge as much as possible) so that's why I'm opting for high VIT/END. I wasn't really planning on using buffs, but that would probably end up being a good idea anyway. Probably gonna want the Darkmoon buff or the crystal, something like that, maybe you have a better suggestion. I could always just use resin with a +15. I'm also wondering what my starting class should be. I was thinking Wanderer. I like the idea of having an elemental Estoc for backup. Also, was thinking of having mask of the child for stamina regen parred with green blossoms.

This build will deliver massive critical hits if used right. You can add a bit of attunement and add power within to maximize damage output.
