It did sell 1.5 million or so units. That's a pretty big seller for a game like this.
I'm doubting it because From Soft initially stated that there would be no DLC no matter what. It shows. The game they released is complete, there is nothing extra on the disc that we didn't pay for.

then an expansion pack, diablo had those and it was a complete game.

Great memories playing Diablo II and it's LOD expansion pack. Now that game had what I would call "farming".

I highly doubt this would ever happen. I would MUCH prefer them working on a new game over DLC. The game is complete and it shows.
