Your already overleveled as it is. The average gamer is only supposed to be level 20 when they beat the Gargoyles. You should go beat the Capra demon if you haven't already and then go through the depths. Also, if you're stating your bleed resist because of blightown, don't bother. Your going to get poisoned either way so it's better if you just stock up on purple moss clumps from the forest.

I would not level up for a bit. Focus on leveling up your gear and collecting rings for a while. Use souls for upgrade materials and such.

I'm pretty sure there's a post somewhere on avg/lvl for each area already, try advanced search maybe?

lvl 55 - you're good to go for Sen's, Anor Londo, New Londo & the Catacombs (with some good divine weapons). I'm trying to see how far I can go with an SL 40 faith build, a little tough, but Four Kings suck without some help

Just to give you an idea, I'm level 71 and just bought Ornstein and Smough & the Painted World. Heading to the abyss to battle the four kings next and I consider myself overleveled. You should have no problem in the abyss.

It's not the best list, but it's a good starting point.

Also, yeah you are a bit over leveled. I'm more or less the same way, I try to spend all of my souls I've gotten from exploring before taking on a boss so I have less to lose when I die. If I don't have stuff to repair, I'll just level up.

My first guy was lvl 50 when I fought the gaping dragon. My new guy is lvl 71 and nearing the end of the game. Try to slow down a bit if you can. It will definitely help when you try to get summoned or summon other players.
