Yup....I posted some stuff on her in the Magic 201 thread in the archives. Mostly conjecture but evidence indicates she knew how to walk the Abyss, lived that but not long enough to tell us how to do it.

her gear is on the cliff just alittle out of the ruins so she made it out but then the question is who killed her

Could it be that Artorias made this covenant thing with four kings, Beatrice went their and discoered them, wich Artorias did not want, so She ran away and Artorias ran after to execute her?

I believe she has ties to Logan and Artorias. So, assuming Artorias went "evil" as opposed to "opposed to Gwyn" he is a likely suspect. Logan is not a likely culprit but he brings along Vinheim ties which also has espionage/spy/possibly assassin ties meaning Griggs and Rickert are possibilities. She seems aggressive towards many of our enemies (Moonlight Butterfly and Four Kings after they become disembodied spirits or ghouls or who the hell knows)......so....
Darkwraiths because of Four Kings?
Seath because of Butterfly?
Nito because of Divine Ember being guarded by butterfly?
Ornstein and/or Smough in their attempt to kill Artorias? (I still think they duked it out but the new PC content suggests I was wrong in believing his corpse is under the sword/grave)
This death needs a game of Clue to figure out

Yeah I think they should put a side story of her in the dlc because I do think she could give a clue of what happen to Artorias.

She's a sweet girl. Usually will solo the Moonlight Butterfly for you if you feel like being lazy. She can be a big help against Four Kings too but you gotta draw the attacks.

I generally think that after the four kings, where she could obviously walk the abyss, something about having traversed the abyss drove her to go mad and hollow. From there she only got so far before she completely hollowed and died up on the cliff while aimlessly wandering from New Londo.

Have finally found her and she was ace in the Moonbug fight. Sincerely hope she's as good against the Four Musketeers.
