Scythe, Great Scythe, Lifehunt Scythe. Pick two and list them in order of greatest to least. I will then link the build. Only stipulation is that the build doesn't use sorceries, miracles, or Pyromancies so weapon buffs aren't available.

Geez someone isn't biased at all.
I'd go so far as to agree with him. If you aren't doing buffs at all then the Lifehunt Scythe can be a refreshing change of pace to most weapons. You need to be very tactically minded with it so as not to get Lifehunt Kickback but also to inflict as much damage on the opponent as possible.
I know I've had my fair share of victories due to its debilitating bleed effect. Also it just looks super badass doesn't it. Though remember don't kill Priscy...... or Wyrm'll get you.

It may be just me, but I can't seem to hit anyone with the Great Scythe so I would say Scythe Great Scythe.

Firstly welcome to the forums.
Secondly, the halberd moveset is very popular and can be extremely effective if you know how to use it.
Still both the Lifehunt and Great Scythe and extremely good dead angling capacity and have movesets which are often harder to follow than that of the regualr Scythe.

Thank you for welcoming me.
You seem to know much about Movesets. I was looking into a build that revolves around the Greatsword and Dmb? Do you think it's possiblle to get a fast rolling DBS-type build around SL 60ish? (hopefully you played DmS so you know what the Dragon bone Smasher build is).

Re: Sl 60 Abyssal
Its entirely plausible. You are looking at light armour only perhaps ever sections of nakedness. Havels ring is a must then, add on the ring of FaP if you absolutely must. Then its up to you to decide between the DWGR and the normal light roll.
Heads up you may not be able to carry a shield but you will have room for talismans a and catalysts.
Heres my SL 60 Attempt at it. mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=300770264
I gave you Wrath of the Gods and ever attempted to make the armour set look like the executioners set which is used with a Dragon bones smasher buidl most on youtube.
See how you like it.

Re: Sl 60 Abyssal
Welcome blade, by the way if you are interested in learning about Great Scythes I might suggest asking Skarecrow, Greengoblin, Wyrmhero, or Ultraflame. All of them use the Great Scythe/Lifehunt Scythe commonly and area very experienced with the weapon if you are looking for advice on using the weapon and tactics to go with it.

Re: Sl 60 Abyssal
I'm using the Greatscythe on a low level Gravelord and use of Dead Angling moves is extremely handy against griefers who tend to turtle up and lag BS you.
Also I believe the Great Scythe has a greater range with its attacks especially the one handed R2, while its slow it does catch people unawares. I haven't used the Lifehunt recently.
Will keep posting with any cool new things I find while using the GScy.
