Secrets in Sen´s Fortress?

what about letting the golem that throws bomb be alive and let him throw a bomb on the boulders the other golem is throwing? Has anyone tested this?

I saw a blind playthrough (seemed genuine) where the guy found the illusory walls. The first one is pretty obvious since it's a tunnel leading to a crummy item (no offense, Mildred), and when he hit the chest with a spear to check if it was a mimic the 2nd wall disappeared.

update: neither does the bomb golem throw any bombs onto the freaking boulders, nor can i melt them with my pyrpmancy flame+5 great chaos fireball

What about using a (fully upgraded) Dragonslayer Spear - Leo Ring combo?

The "His lugged spear is said to have sliced a boulder in two." part calls to me, but I don't have the spear... yet.
If anybody can/wants to check this, that would be cool, if not, I'll try it out once I get the Spear and upgrade it (just to be safe), and let you guys know.

Obviously you need the pendant.

Ya well, all of my toons have that freaking thing.

Dragonslayer spear +3 does does not work. I wore the black iron set and leo ring. I tried all possible attaks. It will take me some time to get all the demon titantes it takes to upgrate the spear to +5....

try doing it with leo ring and full ornstein's

While I still think it's worth a shot, I just can't help feel that nothing will work. I mean, looking at those stairs from all angles ( I even get as close as the right before the last corner next to the pile of rocks, just can't jump on to that blasted last hurdle), it strikes me that the tower is just planted in the middle of the stairs, I can't discern any door or opening of any kind, nor can I when I angle the camera from the top at various positions/angles.
The other part that bothers me, is that looking at the section of the rooftops we can't access, I don't see a single enemy or soul/item... not really proof, I know, but it seems incongruous with the rest of the game, the whole no "item just out of reach taunting/luring you".
As for the door behind where the Golem was, that's just the old door to Anor Londo judging by it's position, blocked off so the only way up would be killing the bastard and using Scary "don't mind the scars on your arms" Airlines (silly Gwyn and his very justified fear of humans ).
The one that still tugs at me is the knight on the walkway below that walkway, you know, the one guarding, well, nothing o.O seems weird...

So since those demon things bring you to anor londo. Why are there other ones trying to kill you/protect gwynboobs? It almost seems as if there are two factions. Any thoughts?

The ones that bring you there are real. The ones you fight are illusions.

^^^That. My only gripe is, thanks to an earlier "discussion" I don't use the word "illusion" anymore. I've started using "construct" instead.

Ya know that area that's largely blank? Part of it is where you fight the golem that rings the second bell. The other part is the part of Sen's you can see from the roof of the church.

I believe Anor Londo is a proving ground like Sen's Fortress. Only the chosen undead "should be able to make it through" because AL also needs to protect the gods. The reasoning is probably that anyone who can actually make it past could only be the Chosen Undead.

Ornstein is one of the Four Knights, he should be in faithful service to the gods and their wishes, especially because we don't see any undead or hollows in AL. So it's only reasonable that he's trying to kill you on Gwyndolin's orders, as the ultimate test of whether you are worthy of the Lordvessel.

Maybe you're right. Though I believe the final test is the construct of Gwynevere, she gives you the lord vessel and encourages you to link the fires, when the potentially 'better' decision, at least for man, would be to kill her and flip the gods the bird.

This considered I think O&S are simply trying to stop you, they know the chosen undead is supposed to destroy the Gods and darken the world. The attempt to get you to link the fires by Fraampt and Gwynevere is just a last resort.
