Great additions by both of you. Although I have museum security watching Dough for posting something that linked to Limp Bizkit.

Tolvo, I just watched Inception last night and your work seems to fit with their idea. There's so much at once (your refusal to adhere to punctuation rules helps this greatly, and I'm not being sarcastic) that all that's left is a seed of an idea. The reader either lets it grow on their own or reads it again to see if they can make the seed start growing.

Dough, you should add more. Good use of imagery and Tolvo already said the only thing I might have.

And for the record.....Loganberry kicks Powerthirst's behind. If the Archives are correct than not only is it super localized but it could be full of sorcery.

lol, it only contained a small amount of Bizkit. I'll try to add some more. Like I said I want to expand and Viral couldnt find one for the true scions that matched up to mine so I might have to write that one.

I gotta do some more artsy stuff. Although it seems like every time I add something the thread goes on life support for awhile and it starts back up after a few days or a week as if I never added anything. In other words.....I'm a sad panda

I think it's more so that we have more writers than musicians. I listen to your stuff, but I just can't really take anything out of it you know? It's just out of my reach, I can say I like it but as a creator myself that's always like a middle finger. "It's good...Okay what part? Can you give me some actual feedback?" And it makes me feel like a jerk thinking about it so I don't respond and it gets awkward.

And yeah Skare it's a bit odd I know but I often abuse and destroy proper sentence structure to bend my stories and words into what I want them to be. It's not supposed to be done, but I quite enjoy writing far better like this. You should see my story Lament of The stillborn, it takes that to heart and basically everything important about it is the grammar and structure used. It's not too terribly interesting though if you like a bit of Slavic folklore as well as seeing the English Language broken down to a weird point you might enjoy it.

I just hope one thing doesn't happen, it won't in a million years but I've always been afraid of writing a more "Mainstream" story and having it actually be a success. Then I have to live with that the rest of my life, To Invoke is unheard of, but "Mr. Plop and his Whimsical time in Dragon Land" is a top seller. I'd probably kill myself honestly.

EDIT: I just realized, I would be the literature form of Kurt Cobain.

No need to explain actually Tolvo. It was a brief pity party. I actually more hoped for something like: I post some music = a musician adds something or I add a drawing = someone adds a sketch/painting etc. Feedback is nice but I jumpstarted the thread with some stuff just because being first is always hard.

I figured your idiosyncratic structure was intentional since I've seen over 5000 examples of your writing style and there's a vast difference with your literature as opposed to conversational ones. I get what you're saying too about the pitfall of success. I don't know if you ever got the issue with my website worked out and were able to browse but in my music section there I point out that there's my favorite piece and then there's everyone else's. My favorite is that because it's the one I most like to share. But the one people liked best (and theoretically wanted to hear again) was a different one.

Also....to plug it again. I think you might get a kick out of my unfinished story (although it's quite juvenile at times). I've used Firefox and Chrome to view it pretty successfully. Tripod will have a pop up or two but the site worked fine.

Could you link it again? I'll give it another shot to see if it works, hopefully the weird ad issues won't come up, I use chrome.

Here you go. I'll link to the main page this time and describe all the

    EXHIBITS

The main page has my all time favorite poem I wrote so that counts. The Bible stuff is jokes based but written form so that counts as parody I suppose. This also counts for the quiz on me which was a parody of all the stupid "I'm this or that" quizzes from back when I was actively using this site. The PLW page describes our wrestling which is almost like art I suppose. The dictionary is more parody and the Choose Your Own Jeffventure is literature and parody. There's an easter egg that links to music as well. Two actually.

    Skarekrow13's unsurprising website name

I apologize again for popups. They're mostly harmless but annoying.

What the crap. I'm using Firefox at work and getting a couple pop ups but it's functioning well still. Chrome worked at home. That's lame as heck Tolvo. I would just cut and past it here but the logistics of having it link to the next spoiler options would be insane. Damn it. I'll quit beating that dead horse I suppose although you would have felt better since you posted a pic of yourself after you saw how ridiculous I can look.

Lol.....you have. And yeah.....I not only can write ridiculous things and look the fool that way but photography can capture me at my "glory." For instance....the picture of me eating peanut butter off of a CD that I broke. It makes a good "reasons you shouldn't drink" poster.

    Exhibit

The cursed are lost to us, swallowed by darkness
A dead man’s teachings, replacing their light
We remain at the hidden grave
Protecting the truth with shield and blade
The death of our teacher, not diminishing his life

    Chant of the True Scions

    Exhibit
A man of two faces, disparity given form
A life of light, a death of dark
A covenant with the dark, a wolf guarding a grave
A covenant following the dark, hunters guarding a wolf
Two different hunters, protecting two truth
A traitor and teacher, a knight and a hunter

    A dirge to Artorias

No idea if dirge is the right word but it sounds right.

I'd have to assume your intent but it sounds right. Basically it makes the whole thing sound like a somber tribute compared to a song. I think it fits fine. Good stuff Dough!

    Exhibit
The hunter appeared, finding his prey
Alone in the forest, it wasn't their day
With his pike of magic, and his blade of sunlight
His foe split in twain, at the end of the fight
