Yeah...This one is...Yeah...I kind of want to turn this one into a book.

    Suicide: Worthless Paradise

    Spoiler:
For all that exists a far greater amount does not, this imbalance in frailty and purpose is what brings about creation. The humans once believed that such genesis was called for since the very beginning. Their thoughts and ideas being the catalyst that would echo for eternity with their shadows etched into the walls. The cave scorched by their fires and universe eclipsed by their love and devotion. These ashes on the lethargic and stagnant winds are mourned by none as there is no such concept as sorrow. The great mist obscuring all that was once the beauty of nature showing only the artificial shadows of monstrosities hidden within. Fiends with warped and broken bodies that join and disperse without any law. Forms without a care for the manifestations of God for it is dead. The massive black pustular body leaking from the spire it is still impaled on. Eyes of omniscience now discharging the care which gave way to all of life. Death now paving over this omnipresence as dark hands claw from the edges of the fog tearing away the engorged one piece by piece. Flesh tearing and flaying about as garnished fangs fed everlasting hungers. The wrath of a deity would be provoked by this abomination yet anger no longer could occur. The grunts and mating calls in the valleys and rivers gave way to revelry over physical wants without any pleasure. A conception against the will of any yet none were left to oppose. Justice was a figment now lost in the pools and primordial waters left imprinted from certain acts. Time which never spawned watched as little webbing and growths grasped at the edges. Land was hidden yet still creatures could harness it for their uses. Bones gimping and dwarfing the many structures of man pulled bit by bit from he who was fed upon by all. Its pain no longer necessary as nothing could feel. The orbs of sunken sockets darted about despite the futility as light could no longer cast the darkness we feared. As such fear no longer existed while all was understood. The only reminder and persevering spirit being that of white barked spirals fleeing the shroud. Their limbs and arms stretched out towards space in the hope of escape. The damned merely used these as staging points to reach their source, that dark tainted meat ensuring generations yet to come. Nothing went noticed as prejudice faded only allowing basic needs. Mannerisms became replaced by the instincts of snouts and claws that dug and gnawed at the mother itself until the heart was reached. This powerful heated plasma spilling out and finishing off those which attempted this pitiful existence on the dead world. The trees offered refuge but the fire consumed all. Finally God remained as the last of the seas rose absorbing it into the muck. The thousand boiling eyes and million mouths opened towards the stars above which faded from existence in glorious shows of power. It was the last, finally the taint wiped away while the cold came and washed over the storm. Finally it was calm as there was nothing left to kick or scream, trying to escape its womb and become its own being. There was nothing to hate, nothing to fear, nothing to believe, nothing to worry, nothing to need, nothing to want, purification had been found.

I like the sound of this.... but in more simple terms what is the plot. I could see readers being turned away by you use of higher level writing techniques.

Basically Viral, in this story humanity was having a sort of golden age in development when a massive black being without a true form and so many eyes and limbs it is considered omniscient and omnipresent, as it extends beyond measurable means. It literally killed itself on the planet flooding the world with its blood and remaking the earth and all life into this hellish existence, which the story takes place during. One thing about my stories is they aren't really reader friendly. Which isn't a good thing if I wanted to become a successful writer, but more so creation is my main task and I don't care if no one or many read it.

That's the plan Skare, kind of think of this as the synopsis, the entire worthless paradise. But the full story will take place showing the before, the suicide itself, then the aftermath. Thanks, was it a bit disgusting to you? One of my biggest points was to try and disgust the reader with this one. The unnatural birth, the cesspools with titans mating and squealing in it, and the flesh rending as a means of survival. Everything was intended to be visceral and unpleasant.

I think you got it. Will eagerly await more. It seems vaguely reminiscent of Lovecraft except you actually describe what you're taking about. I'm all for vague but in his case I think he just didn't have the words to express what he wanted to show the reader in most cases. I think he genuinely could see the horrors but to me he fell short in communicating them. your message is clearer

Yeah, that was sort of always an issue of mine with him is that he leaves too much to your imagination. The human mind is a powerful tool and it can cause you to create some of the most fearful creatures in your mind, but it comes to a point that you, the reader, are doing far more work in your imagination and that what you see in the story isn't even the work of his anymore. I like to leave people imagining, as I don't describe literally every nook and cranny, but still I want them to get a proper picture of what I'm seeing in my head.

Actually it's a bit funny but I have a sort of highly irregular means of describing characters when I introduce them. The typical thing is to describe every aspect of them right?

"He is a tall dark haired man with a thick frame and stern jaw contrasting his sorrowful and whimpering brows over those light blue eyes of his."

I actually space my descriptions out through a story, I might not tell you a character has a certain feature until two chapters in. I only describe what is important at the time, if they need a feature that makes them stand out I describe that first, but that's it. How tarnished their hands and teeth are, the curves of their face and torso, I'll leave the details to come as time goes on. It's pretty irregular and really hard to pace at times, but I really love to experiment with it as I do everything.

Sometimes that's a powerful tool. You start to picture the character then have to rethink out once you get more info. I remember reading the Dark Tower series and I had a picture of Roland in my head. Then I found out who Stephen King modeled him after and it blew my mind. It was such a weird experience I actually watched a western to see for myself

I have heard a lot of good things about Dark Towers, I should pick it up sometime.

Typically I don't describe the very main character, they have mannerisms but often they don't have a face, name, or even gender.

Dark Tower depends on your Stephen King fandom. As a standalone work it holds up well and is one of his best but the real beauty is that the books (all seven) are actually a reflection of his own life in a messed up way and serve as a tie to everything story he's done for the most part as well as how he fits in with popular culture, literature in general and more. The story is great but it's really a web connecting to much much more.

As promised, here is the drawing I made with crayon while my daughter and I were "coloring." Typically I draw monkeys, or lions or an octopus for her but decided to default to my normal style of drawing. She wasn't as much a fan of this one as she is the monkeys. Of interest is that I only used one crayon, which is comprised of four colors. Changing the crayon's orientation changes the color.

    EXHIBIT

Well I mentioned to some of you that I was working on a book and this, is the very first part of it. It's very...Odd and strange is the best way I can describe it.

    Spoiler:
At the head of God sits many eyes and legs that shiver and twitch with death. Their forms shaking and convulsive as the body lays dormant, arms stretched across the ancient world's new hosts. A wake found within the the massive holes of impact from such an important figure. Scars and tears ripping apart that which it once loved as there were no longer any feelings. Crushed and defeated by the very force of birth humanity watches the great limbs sag and limply sleep over their oceans. Soaking in the water a cloud releases dying it indigo, a majority of the planet changing to allows its forgotten host. The many looks and faces turned towards the north to witness the great fear and terror of blackness dwarfing the very sky. Twisting and kicking those hanging still stuck within the womb shrieked before breaking from their mother and father. Great beasts fell down as the demon's of the divine consuming any near and devouring life. Within their gullets fat and plump rested satiated with this outcome were the denizens whose last words were screamed. From the holes and sores where those that came second forced their births flowed the wine of It, drowning themselves and any left behind. The seas followed in suit extinguishing the existing. Skeletons sank to the deepest areas of Earth resting in the hands of the Lord as it merely caught them with open palms. Their large twirling thick fingers waving with the gentle pace of the ocean as it caressed its father. The massive wings and spines of its self wilting and curling up across the cold landscapes of the north and sound with only the massive crater seating it. Boiling over from the heat of such an entrance the oceans took over the land absorbing God into the dark blue behemoth that swallowed the world. Still pumping Its heart fueled this new usurper allowing the conflagration to spread for what could have been generations. The cascade of light emanating from the vessel of light attempted to escape the depths however only a slight glimmer of golden rings made it to the very surface. Soft is the tug on the back of Its skull as it still descends rolling onto Its side. Few had seen even the eyes and body, less the tendrils and reaching maws that slowly opened towards the stars. A great dust rose cutting the colors even further and obscuring even the world to God. Stricken by this great disease She cried for Her lost lover. She hugged it close and tried to give back to It what had been given to Her. The body was beyond sucking from its breasts for no longer could It reach for them. They surged before it but the attempt was futile now. God had made Its choice and no longer could another be perceived or conceived. Eternal and Absolute in idea and practice errors and answers became irrelevant. Still coiling as they fell serpentine strings curved around the moon and orbits of other giants as some were severed by the great heats in the universe. Pillars of water and walls of mist rose to answer their call slapping the clouds with thunderous roars of anger. Ripples of cries pressing forth in all directions to only meet with ancestors, descendants, and siblings. A great antithesis to life had been found within the massive cavernous chest of the Lord. The cruelty and malice forged within over the lifespan of a single being murky and thick with resentment. The children had killed their father finally with a single spear of ignorance. Echoing throughout the waters came their final acts as the bodies churned with every current. Intention and perseverance slept below that shadow of It as a reminder of what the origin had been. Humanities conviction would stay in these now hallow waters as the Mother mourned. However as her purpose faded still there was a chance. Conception was still possible with the Father even though It had passed. As such she soon would rupture herself and release the oozes of her uterus to the water. At this point the Earth could no longer feel the pain as she'd grown to tolerate such an act. The nurturing plasma of her own self hoping to be passed onto a new family with an old member. This incest brought with it the great necrophilia of love that would spawn her loved ones. A glowing heat came and found the body entering via the sores left by its newborn allowing for a Zygote to mass itself within this reformed union.

Reading that Tolvo I get the same feeling as when I read one of Cook's essays (did you hear he just wrote his last?). One of half coherence and the feeling their is a much greater meaning that is completely flying over my head. Why couldnt english have onvolved stuff like that. Much more interesting.

    Exhibit
We are the blades of darkness, the light on the grave,
Striking from the shadows, parting flesh with blade.
We are the wolves that run free, yet serpent bound,
Two sides of the same man, united for now.

Chant of the cursed followers of Artorias

The funny part is that is the section that is probably the easiest to understand, as the story evolves it will become more inconsistent, and over all use descriptions that are designed to be interpreted far more than anything before it. "A blinding white creature upright and born of an immaculate oil." That's the only description of a very important figure in the book, and tells you well over a hundred things about the creature. big grin

Now if I can just keep myself out of depression long enough to finish this thing haha.

Der, it no rhyme dough, why your thing no Rhyme? Should Rhyme!

Looks very nice Dough, I think the second line is a bit redundant. "Blades of Darkness..." "...Striking from the dark, parting flesh with blade." In the first line you basically already stated this, then repeated yourself.

the first line is meant to represent the abyss i.e. darkwraiths, while the second line is more literal.

You might want to change "Dark" to shadows to represent that. It's just that within two lines you use the same words twice essentially.

"I'm a kicker of ***, and taker of names."
"Their names taken by me, as I kick their ***."

No problem, it's a common thing I see with people so I like to help them with it whenever I can. I sometimes do it myself, but in a bit more of a way to build upon certain words and use them in means that weren't previously shown in a sentence to convey and idea of growth upon its purpose and change in structure. But you'll probably lose readers by that point haha.
