Fighting a Wall

Just a short funny story.

Me and 1 phantom are in Darkroot Forest. We get to Sif's Door but then a message pops up. I've been invaded. Then we both think the same thing.

He then equips, not one, but TWO Havel's Greatshields. He 2 hands 1 of them and he stands in the middle of the tiny bridge. I pull off my Darkmoon Bow +5.

The poor invader comes. He quickly rushes my phantom. He raises his shield and I start shooting arrows like a mad man.I hit him 3 times for 600 damage. He then backoff and tries to cast Fire Tempest. My friend goes a bashes his head with Havels' shield. He then equips a Large Club and does a jumping attack while the invader was trying to cast Fire Tempest again. Goodbye invader.




Trolling invaders is fun!

Sigh. You had better luck than I had with shield and bow. Makes me sad.

I think someone negged you for trolling a forest invader. (No, it was not me!)

I've done worse in the forest... sneaky sneaky backstab assassinations.

2 phantoms invade, I pop RoF and hornets, the two phantoms meet up and I stalk them as they start patrolling. As soon as one phantom got 20 feet ahead I backstabbed the other for an OHK. I can only imagine how horrified the first phantom would be. His buddy just got downed out of nowhere xD

The rest played out the same way, I feel bad about using Hornets, but hey, I PvP with 20 vitality and super light armor, I get 2 shot with a BKGA, and 1 shot with a buffed Great club. I think it's fair.

^^ ive stopped caring really i think everything is pretty fair honestly. only 3vs1 is really unfair and even then you CAN win and people do all the time. i was sitting in dark anor londo for fights(i never pvp there) and it was like i was invading it was 1vs2 or 1vs3 everytime invaders were poping up like crazy.

so from now on in areas like that i summon someone and just kinda keep my distance(and message them to not gank if possible) i still got hate mail despite the fact it was almost always 2vs2 sometimes one of the invaders would die and it would become 2vs1 but i would just back away or my summon would. obviously i can see this going badly if you summon the wrong person and they pull out all the troll moves.
