what kind of character are you trying to build? what weapons do you like? are you looking to participate in pvp? looks like you already have a strength build so far.

One more point in faith and you can use the heal miracle. VERY useful.

I'm trying to make a warrior build, I was using a great sword so that's why my str is so high but now I'm using queelags furysword. I also use alittle pyromancy.

i would advise looking for a weapon that scales with strength. queelag's scales with dex and humanity and does not really take advantage of you stats (unless you are going for a high level hybrid). i would look into the man serpent great sword. are you looking to pvp?

    My thoughts...

If you put any points into Res they were wasted
Get End to 40 for a warrior build
Find a weapon you like that scales w/ both Str and Dex since those are your main points. Or if the weapon you like only scales w/ one of those get that and stop putting points in the other.

is that for ppve, cause it doesnt really matter if it is. if its for pvp you should go 40 on vit, end, str and dex, it hits hard and you can use any weapon you want. also do not put any points in res, its useless.

Interesting. Did you put points into Resistance? I generally would go against that, it's a pretty useless stat.
Is there a reason your bringing both Strength and Dex up so high? 40 is generally the largest you want to bring them to. And if you do, you'll be able to use STR-C DEX-C weapons like Claymore effectively, but that's about it (I think).
I would highly suggest raising your Endurance soon. 40 Endurance gives you a maximum Stamina Bar, and a decent amount of Equip Burden to wear good armor.

As DJGQ asked, what do you intend to do with this build? For PVE (Player vs Environment) or PVP?

The important question here is: PVP or PVE? And if it's for PVE will you be doing co-op at all, helping other people through the game, or just doing your own thing mostly?

if you are going to do pvp, you want your sl right around 120. get your vit and end to minimum 40 and then you can put points into either faith (miracles), int (magic) or dex (weapons). have you ever used the character creator? works like a charm: http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/.

Why exactly is 120 a wanted SL again? Anyway raise Endurance based on your armor. Doesn't necessarily have to be 40. Unless you like to spam attacks(random wild swings) it's wasted points.

120's a relic from Demon's Souls, where the PvP community had decided to make it the unofficial-official PvP SL. At that level, you're supposed to have enough points to make the desired build you want, while having to compromise on the non-essential.

To be honest, with the rather severe diminishing returns in Dark Souls (stats go to 99, but anything over 40-50 for any stat is virtually useless), I feel like 120 is too high for anyone to make any compromises. But it was decided pretty early on in the community that we'd keep it that level, and we've been rolling with it since.

A friend who introduce me to this game has 99 Int with 50 Att. Easily does +1800 damage OHKO pretty much anyone who invades him without using things like red tearstone ring. Forget what his weapon did but it was like +850 on a normal swing. I think he's what people call a forest farmer LMAO. Is maxing a stat really THAT USELESS? Serious question as I personally haven't raised anything past 50 on my builds but am working on a high level Artorias toon.

Yes, maxing a stat to 99 is pretty useless. With your Int example, the most powerful catalyst gets 22 additional maj adj from 50 to 99, which is a 7.5% increase in damage. If using Logans you get 14 maj adj which is 6.1% increase. If he's doing 1800 damage at 99 he would be doing 1650-1700 at 50 and put those 49 points somewhere else, like to max out End, up Vit, up Fth to get WoTG (w/ Velka's Talisman of course), max out Dex for faster casting speed (45) and better scaling for Velka's Rapier, or put it into Str for some heavier weapons.
