ceaseless discharge (Resolved)

I am a little confused about this. He kills me in one shot. Ive tried luring him to the fog gate as "intended" but he stops and just one shots me. He never follows all the way, even if i do manage to somehow survive the attack, he never moves closer. Iv tried the hide and seek method of dodging around the big rock, still hits me through solid rock. Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Btw, I am sl 51.

Try to go back to his sister's corpse (yes his sister). Then run back to the fog gate as fast as you can.
