    Move-set errors Empty Move-set errors

Post by Blackie Tue Apr 03, 2012 9:14 pm

This is starting to piss me off, GS users (Usually Artorias, Zwei and MGS) perform their attacks with the regular longsword, R1-2-handed move-set showing, it doesn't vary if they are 2-handing the weapon or not, it just shows it like that.
    (Strong attacks are correctly shown)
It used to happen like, in 1/100 duels a month before, but now, 1/10 duels have this issue.
It's really annoying to parry or dodge, is it lag, hack or some kind of disc error? If someone knows the answer and how to fix it, please post it here.
    I play on 360 (pity Prostration )
*Happened right now with a Moonlight user, :00041: Thank god I have pone to calm me down. Proper Bow

+1 reputation for your avatar, everyone loves the .MOV series winking

And on topic, if you're on 360, it may actually be a hack, or at the very least someone has figured out how to make the glitch happen on purpose and players are getting more control over it making it happen more often. In my opinion though, the more likely is hacks, as it doesn't seem unreasonable that a hack could be used to replace the moveset and animation files for a Greatsword with those of a Straight Sword.

    Oh for the love of...
AGH! This pisses me off so badly! It might seem a little bit stupid, but it really affects my play-style!

i've had it happen on ps3... zweihander moving at the speed of a stright sword... it's scary it keeps its range and damage but moves so dang fast! i think it may be a glitch that occurs when switching between weapons in one hand, not sure how tho.... i hope i don't see a smough hammer moving like a dagger in the near future....

I've seen a couple people talking about this but I haven't seen it myself.

I think its a glitch possibly caused by lag were the weapon is changed but the change in moveset animation doesn't trigger. Being on 360 I'm sure its not hard to hack that seeing as people will give themselves massive health and stamina bars.

Alright, had another duel with the same Moonlight user, now everything was normal once again.
...I really don't know what to think about this issue any more.

It's a glitch, I've actually it before on accident myself without knowing what exactly happened at first. And boy was it overpowered, my animation? A Rapier. My Weapon? Demon Great Hammer, with I poked with twice and dealt over 1k damage.

I've had a Dragonslayer Spear swung at me like a straightsword.
