    Its strange...

Post by Wade_Wilson on Tue Apr 03, 2012 3:33 pm

Everyone talks abut how they have thrown a controller, punched a wall or broken a game disc when gaming. I've never done any of those. I havent even thrown the controller once.

    Anyone else feel like this?

Maybe not too exagerated but I normally rage out loud. My neighbors often complain

I always keep an old pencil close. Learned that in school. The cheapest way to channel your rage is to snap a pencil in two.

I normally don't throw/break/punch something, I get up and make uncontrolled movements, shaking a fist so to speak...

After I gently put down my controller of course...

I threw my controller at a pillow once, does tha count? And it wasn't even over Dark Souls.

It was when Tali died in the Mass Effect 2 Suicide Mission on my first play through.

Nope, never thrown a controller, though I have flipped my mouse before (BF3 Patch....) and frequently make stunted gurgling noises when really frustrating or aggravating things happen, but only if an accumulation of things have conspired to get me that grumpy.

No, I know it would cost me a lot of money to get a new controller so I don't mess with them...Punch a metal fan and broke it apart once though, cut up my knuckles really bad too.

I've dropped controllers, or mashed buttons too hard which over a long period of time has broken controllers, but I've never thrown or smashed something in frustration :|

^ never broken any of my game stuff, never taken my rage out on pencils, but I DID throw my controller into the couch and screamed "WHAT THE *** AM I PLAYING!"

... that was when SH5 homecoming first came out and I got to the spider maniquin 'monster' with god of war crowbar prompts. It took me a few years to bother putting that game in my ps3 again, can't say its ever going back in there after having seen the end of that game.

    That game was a horror.

I can think of a few games that made me scared, the souls series comes to mind! But survival horror games have kind of vanished from the gaming scene it feels. Or maybe I am just not looking hard enough. Haha.

I came real close to throwing my controller,system,t.v. and myself out a window last night as a rat stunlocked me in the parish in ng+ and pushed me off a ledge as I was trying to retrieve 41 humanity. And 250k souls. Just when you get lazy with this game it grabs you by the throat and demands respect.
