Mask of child question

Yea so I got question: is it noobish or somehow "lame" to use the child mask? because it helps me ALOT in pvp with my great scyte build! Its just that ppl seem to just fish for backstabs after I started to use the mask?
Or are they just scared of my CMW buffed scyte?
LOL I tried to ALSO buff me with power within I 1hit KO some folks and Im at lv 120! crazy!!
I use Black iron armor and various heavy armor peaces to get about 70-80 poise and to stay under 50% eq burden, Fap ring and atm Im trying the DWGR it seems to help alot with the added movespeed. as a shield I use grass crest shield but on my back for better stamina recovery.
Or did I have just a bad morning? See at the morning here I only get japanese player(99%) and idk what it is with them but they seem to bs 24/7 (my brother noticed this weird pattern...)
ps from should have added the stamina recovery buff to the dark helmet instead!

Masks are kind of the signature of people who try to hard or play with a bit of bad sportsmanship. I'm not saying the masks are bad themselves, it's just that when wearing masks people often assume you belong to this group of players. That's probably why there was a lot of BS fishing, though I think that's just something normal to encounter anyway.

What Tolvo said. Nothing wrong with a mask, just the bad association. You'll also find that some people chose armor for looks rather than function.

Okay I guessed it was something like that, but would some weed make up for the loss of sta recovery If I used another helmet? Its just that now my weight is optimal it is 49,6% haha
I was thinking about using little lighter armors its just that I get so easy stunned then! but then again I could skip dwgr and use the poise ring?! LOL I love this game there is so many options!
I guess I have to get some more experience from duels before I use lighter armors but usually I win if they aint going for bs.
hmm some ppl just flee until my buff has worn off, then I just "unbuff" my weapon and pwn the m anyways hehe (sometimes)
Oh and If I would choose my armor by looks, well thats why I use black iron armor! I like it and it fits nice with the dark mask!

I actually like the idea of the masks. It makes me think of the golden armor in Excalibur. They made the Child mask and the Mother mask a little too silly looking imo, but to each their own. The Father mask can work in a Ancient Greek Warrior or an Excalibur kinda way imo...

I think the fishing has more to do with your buffed great scythe that takes a thrid of people's health...

I would say to play how you want. This is just a game and you should enjoy yourself. Wearing one of the masks does not make you a cheap player or any less skilled. It is just a piece of equipment in the game you can utilize. My builds wear them. I actually like how they look in general except for the Mask of the Father.

nothing wrong with the family masks just a little on the boring side since they're used sooooo much. this is a good example of why ive started bum rushing people who go buff crazy before a duel. i just dont see why i should let someone cast buffs that enables them to 1-2shot me, if they want that, risk taking dmg.

Yeah, it's the buffed scythe w/ its dead angles, reach, and power that you're getting BS right away.

Yeah I agree with Tolvo and Baal also, the mask of the father is so ugly I think the mother one is the best looking of the pack.
