Firelink Shrine flame ....GONE

okay, so old mate in the yellow armor has come and killed the lady behind the bars so the flame cannot be lit, I understand that.

However I have used the Dark eye whilst in AnorLondo and killed him and one of his allies. Obtained his armor after defeating the 2 bosses also.

Now .... I have gone back to the shrine and I do not get the option to reserrect the fire Keeper ?

Did I do something wrong ?

You posted a Dark Souls topic in the Demon's Souls section.

Other than that, you need to return the Fire Keeper's soul. The exact one that belongs to her. If you ate it, you're out of luck. If you put it in your bottomless box, pull it back out and try to return it to her.

Common mistakes are consuming it or using it to upgrade your flask. If you still have the firekeeper soul in your possession, then read its description. The right one will tell you something about the 'ash maiden', none of the other firekeeper souls can be used to revive her.

You most likely either have it in your Bottomless Box or used it to reinforce your flask.

Did you talk to the bars where she hides behind?

What happens if you have her Soul while she's alive? Can I replace her with the talking version of her? How about if I murder her myself?

You can't murder her. I've tried hitting her with WoG (which killed the magic reinforcing blacksmith), and you can't replace her with her talking self because her tongue is only brought back if she dies and then her body reforms around that spirit (or something like that).

Thinking back I did come across a couple of souls and I have upgraded my flasks to +5 at the moment. The mistake I must have made was that I was looking for a 'named' version of the firekeeper soul rather than the generic ones that are found throughout the world.

So its my bad it is a little inconvenient however a quick run up the elevator and over to the fire nea the entrance of sens fortress is easy enough. I have also kindled this bon fire to allow me 20 flasks and 10+ to marshmallows

Thats the closest one to firelink, so don't worry.

I moved it, but it didn't get any kind of 'moved from' tag. The ghost topic in the demons souls section is also gone, for whatever reason. I'm not quite familiar with this forum yet, so it might have been my mistake.
